that you don't want? I prefer the New Wave-ish 80's, like Go-Go's, Berlin, Bangles, A-Ha, Prince (Raspberry Beret, *NOT* Little Red Corvette).........etc. I did a search on Amazon, and the current CD's of then 80's hits don't have songs or artists that I like or want. I just found out Berlin is playing in a bar in a small town near me on 7/1. I can't believe that. IP: Logged |

Hey Nephthys,Amoeba on Haight Street has a big, and organized clearance section. Check out www.ebay.com. Good Luck! I found the Pop Trash CD by Duran Duran a few weeks ago for $1.99 at Amoeba Cheers, Aphrodite ------------------ Love all, trust a few. Oh... 80s music Curiosity Killed the Cat The Bangles The Go-Gos Depeche Mode (collection of CD and LP) The Cure Berlin (on LP ... not CD) when I was about 13 I used to blare their SEX song in the morning (home alone) while getting ready for school. I'm sure I have others that I'm just not thinking of... IP: Logged |

My hubby and I were talking about this last night. We watched "50 First Dates" Which I actually really enjoyed. I love Adam Sandler's Humour... Anyway... We were saying.... He always picks the best sountrack for his movies.. great eighties stuff.... so you could cheat and pick up "The Wedding Singer' soundtrack, or any other compilation album from Adam Sandler movies. Stanger still.... What about the compilation albums from that Video Game.... 'Grandtheft Auto-"Vice City"'... They're already put together for your listening pleasure. Or I dare say.. Any John Cusack movie. Soundtracks IP: Logged |

Hey Nepthys, Sorry --- but like you, I hang onto all my '80's stuff (including music) like it's going out of style. Huge fan of "Pet Shop Boys", "Duran Duran", "New Order", "A-ha", "Hall and Oates" (in the 80's), "Cindy Lauper", "Alphaville"..... Ok, I'll stop! You get the picture I wish I could re-live it all, love the Brat Pack.....ok, I'm shamelessly dating myself here but who cares? I was really upset when I found out that I couldn't pick up a "Real Life" CD (lost my tape from way back when) because they were taken out of production! I love their song "Send Me An Angel" Luckily, I found it on a compilation CD. Whew!!!! It's good to know there are others out there just as madly obsessed with the '80s!!! IP: Logged |

I hope you guys know that A-ha and Duran Duran still make music.*grins* Actually A-ha's most recent album from a couple years ago called LifeLines was one of their best.

Oxy, any you don't want? Aphr, thanks, I'll check that out! Pixie, I haven't seen that movie yet, but I want to and I *LOVE* Drew Barrymore. I *LOVED* the Wedding Singer and I watch it over, over, and over again when it's on T.V.! It's so hilarious how they put Billy Idol in it! Quicksilver, Ooooooh Alphaville and Pet Shop Boys! I recently heard "West End Girls" on the radio! So the question remains, anyone don't want any of your CD's? IP: Logged |

DuranDuran were my fav band at 4.. along with Dollar and Bucksfizz! In ref. to 'Send Me an Angel', quicksilver - and everyone, do you remember The Scorpian's version? Love that.
