I have found that most of the men that I have been around, even just friends - seem to really like the Vanilla that I wear. I am very sensitive to scents and will get sick to my stomach if something is too strong.

I really only wear the Victoria Secret Vanilla Lace. It is one of the purest forms of Vanilla without that stinky after smell that the Body Shop Vanilla has. I think the BS may go too heavy on the musky understones. Chemically, Vanilla is one of the hardest scents to recreate and synthetic versions are not up to par.

I cut my Vanilla lace with a rich unscented lotion so that the Vanilla isn't too strong. Then I place a bit of the Body Shops Lilac oil (mixed with a few drops of honeysuckle essential oil) on my pulse points.

It creates a very earthy - yet sexy scent. It is detectable, but not strong.

There is nothing I hate more than a man or woman that has so much cologne on that it creates this ugly stinky cloud around them and the scent lingers for hours after they have gone!!! LOL..reminds of Pig Pen on peanuts. LOL....

There is a company in the United Kindom based in Glastonbury Somerset called "STAR CHILD" they do amazing astrologically blended perfumes which are blended during the specific lunar cycle assosciated with your particular sign. It is not just a perfume, but a blend with herbs combined to balance negative and positive of each sign.

It's truly one of the most fascinating places to visit. One can purchase anything natural you could think of. You can get a mail order catalogue, or look them up on the web. I know the owner well and we often have very long dicussions on all kinds of subjects. She's a herbalist, aromatherapist, and wise woman, with great healing knowledge.

The place itself has amazing energy. It's cave like. I practically buzz and hum like a bee, everytime I'm in the place. I had to step out once I vibrated so much. She seems to always know when I'm due in. Has everything I want ready and waiting. Sometimes I end up with stuff I didn't order because she thinks I should have it. Honestly!!!

It's a powerful place indeed.

They sell all manner of things. All of them pure and organic.

Astrological Candles
Sacred Herbs
Essential Oils
Gums and Resins
Incencse Blended To Ancient Greek and Eygptian Mythology.
ElementaL Clearing Incense

Magical Aromas - Interesting Flying Oil. Only to be used with extreme caution.

Tarot Oil - To assist in attunement

They also do oils and incense dedicated to the celebration of the eight ancient festivals.

Gia, sounds amazing, I will thanks for taking the time to detail it too!

Total Pieces, Ylang-Ylang is fab, nice to hear another person marintes in their perfume!

pidua - the Victoria Secret vanilla scent? Don't think I'd had the pleasure - although I have a hundred different fragrances sprayed on my poor 'drunk' skin when I waltz thro department stores! Another to check out, thanks!

Happy sniffin'!

I use perfumes. I guess more than the "smelling good" part, it is my responsibility to smell good. Even though I take bath twice a day, living in a place where we sweat, it is a necessity that I use perfumes. I never use deo sprays.

Hey Libra, I wear Casmir, as well; I love it!
I used to love Encounter by Victoria Secret and then they discontinued it!
I love anything with a vanilla or musky base.
I hate walking passed perfume counters, though...all the strong perfumes give me a major headache.
I love a man to wear cologne.......lol, showered, dressed up, well-groomed........I guess that's my Mars in Virgo

I like a nice smelling perfume on a woman. I don't like it however if I can detect B.O. underneath the perfume.

I'm also good with just a clean woman.

I really like feminine women.
