My Philosophy? Try anything that appeals to you, even if it's only for 10 minutes!

Most amazing thing I ever saw... a dog taking a crap while I was on acid. (only once folks, only once.)

15 minutes of fame?
Flipping over the horse and carriage containing 8 people and a baby, in front of a building containing 3 news stations. Sending all to the hospital. I was severly badgered as to why I didn't try to get the people out instead of catching the horse! Rule #1. Grab the horse first so it doesn't drag everyone for a mile. Lawers were crawling all over the place. Right there on at least local T.V. I was bawling into the neck of a horse. Then had it plastered all over the papers the next day.

Everyone? Try to see humor in your job.

P.S. I could never run for political office, could I?

Whoa....Philbird..you've seen it all, girl!
My list pales in comparison...but

1. Summer job: Grounds cleaner at the fair grounds (that job sucked)
2. Catering hostess
3. Deli clerk/baker/sandwich maker
4. Departement store clerk (which started with cashier, and went to electronics dept, jewellery dept, customer service desk, then ended with cashier supervisor
5. Show home hostess
6. GM Dealership, new car sales receptionist and switch-board operator
7. Current job, W. Can. Project Coordinator for a major manufacterer of products for the electrical industry. (and office go-to girl)

And all that has been during the course of 18 years. I'm one of those "long-term" people.

Philbird -
You mean at the convenience store? We never had any problems. Of course it didn't hurt that one of my co-workers was having an affair with one of the city police officers. Even though the store sits right on a state highway there have never been any robberies. It's right in the middle of town and there's always someone in there. The police chief told us once that most criminals would probably figure for a town this small there wouldn't be enough cash to make it worth their effort to rob.
