I don't know why but the song "Little 15" by Depeche Mode has been running through my head on continuous loop today. I don't even have "Music for the Masses" (but I wish I did), but I can't seem to shake it. Dave Gahan's voice just gets to me sometimes and Martin Gore isn't half bad either. I was just wondering if anyone else has any songs they are wanting to share. BRM, perhaps?

Good songs running through my head ? NO! As a matter of fact. Tonight at work one of my male co-workers was annoying us, singing Britney Spears' "I'm not a girl, not yet a woman" song. I can't stand that song! Uh, yeah thanks for clearing that up Britney.

It's still in my head! I have the hardest time getting songs out of my head too.

Seriously - I ALWAYS have a song playing in my head. Sometimes I really wish I could turn my juke box head off.

Please help.

My copy is a burned one with no info, who does the duet with Kid Rock on this song?

divinia -
DM has a way of getting into your mind and under your skin, don't they? Gotta love Martin Gore!!

I tend to get stuck in U2. "Lemon" when in a funky mood, "Ultra Violet" when pondering.
Though lately I've had Kenny Chesney's "I Go Back" popping in at the worst times.

"I go back to a field and the 50-yard line
A blanket, a girl, and some raspberry wine
Wishing time could stop right in it's tracks.
Everytime I hear that song
I go back."
"I go back to the loss of a real good friend
And the 16 summers I shared with him
Now 'Only the Good Die Young' just stops me in my tracks.
Everytime I hear that song
I go back."
"I go back to a pew, the preacher, and the choir
Singing about God, brimstone and fire
The smell of Sunday chicken after church."

I've been rather reflective lately and that song just fits right now, but sometimes I wish it didn't play in my head so much.

Blessings to all

LLL

Dear LLL:

Thank you for your response. Martin Gore is such an amazing songwriter. "Somebody" is just the perfect song for twin souls or anyone else who is close with their mate. That and "Stripped" are the reason I'll have to buy "Black Celebration" as well. My copy of 101 has major scratches on "Stripped" unfortunately.

All I've been listening to lately are The Rolling Stones. Man, are they something. Keith Richards = God. I've had Ruby Tuesday stuck in my head all day, a great song.

"Don't question why she needs to be so free
She'll tell you it's the only way to be
She just can't be chained
To a life where nothing's gained
And nothing's lost
At such a cost

'There's no time to lose', I heard her say
'Catch your dreams before they slip away'
Dying all the time
Lose your dreams
And you will lose your mind.
Ain't life unkind?"

Philbird, you such a nut!

I quite often get Outcast's 'Heya' stuck in my head, because peoeple so often say "hey.." in kind of melodic way, so it just reminds me of that song.

That one, and (dunno the title or artist)" I like it. I love it. I want some more of it" ... lol... I can't seem to just say "I like it" anymore, without breaking into that song.

I've had Miss You by Aaliyah stuck in my head for several days now.

It's been too long and I'm lost without you. What am I gonna do? Said I been needin you, wantin you. Wondering if you're the same and whose been with you. Is your heart still mine? I wanna cry sometimes. I miss you.

I just keep singing that chorus over and over lately. Grocery shopping, doing the dishes, pulling weeds... all along singing as though I sound half as good as Aaliyah.
