Well, Yesterday I had two very wonderful, long conversations with a priest and a psychiatrist. They were of a spiritual nature. I was so energized by their enlightenment... I came here to spread to warmth. This site is what has inspired me to ask questions, and seek my path. Since my computer is projecting a negative energy, I believe I will take a break till energies balance out. Thanks for everything knowflakes. I shall return... IP: Logged |

Excuse me young lady? Get back here, right this minute!! Didnt I recently read somewhere here that if I tried to leave, you would "hunt me down like a hungry bloodhound"?Well, little doggie --- birdie??... - turtle?? Uhhmmm....whatever - just don't be gone too long. You did say you'd be back so I'm not too worried. I'm interested in hearing about the spiritual experience you just had. In any case my "turtle dove" take care and talk to you soon. 26 PS - Who's Capt'n Underpants? IP: Logged |

Dearest Philly,Do not run away my friend. The negative is simply just one way to perceive. It is the perception of a few. If you really feel that way, then come back and project your normal warmth and good humour in it's place. How welcome and needed is that. Give it no room to grow by filling it up with your usual warmth and love. As always, Gia. IP: Logged |

Philbird, I don't understand? I have never picked up on a negative energy coming from you. We were all so happy about your ex keeping the dogs and listening / reading your thoughts / dreams in Astral Realms. I do hope you will reconsider and not let anything chase you away. ~Pidaua IP: Logged |

Thanks guys!, I have been working so hard in trying to perceive words as just words and not see them as making personal attacks on my ego. With some of the recent posts, I've felt the need to respond out of anger or frustration. Perhaps I was running away insatead of owning up the fact that I am not balanced yet.. I need to keep in mind that patience is a big issue for me. Gia, thanks, that's kinda what I've been trying to say here. Pidaua, That's Great! Maybe we could meet sometime! You'll love Hastings! Especially if you need a new Tarot deck! There are not too many Edgar Cayce books left, I'm afraid I bought most of them. If you like Sylvia Browne, they keep her well stocked! They also have all the "conversations with god" books. Be prepared and have lots of time when you go! Mary IP: Logged |

Hey Mary, I'll give you a shout out here when I get settled (probably around mid sept). A meeting sounds cool - does Hastings have a coffee shop too?
I'll keep in touch for sure. ~Shawnee IP: Logged |

Dear Philly,You are no more unbalanced than anyone else is on this forum. Do you hear me clearly or should I get one of those megaphone things and blast the airways? Please dear God hear me on this Philly, because believe me if I were telling you an untruth it would be far worse for me. No person who loves is unbalanced. You have let other peoples unbalancement give you vertigo. I'll tell you a story. I hope you haven't heard it before but if you have, I'll just remind you of it. I've no idea who wrote it or where it came from. In fact in all honesty, I'm not even sure how I know it. Once upon a time there was this old Native and he had two large clay pots balanced either end of a long pole. He used these large clay pots to ferry water from the well five miles away from his home. He carried his weight daily across his shoulders using the back of his neck for support. One clay pot was perfect in every single way. It looked perfect and it performed it's duities exactly as it should, carrying the water it held without spilling a drop of it's most valuable cargo. The other pot was not quite perfect and would only arrive at it's destination with only half of it's valuable cargo, having leaked the rest on the long trail home. The perfect pot was really puffed up with itself, which made the other pot feel even worse about it's condition. It drove itself mad with guilt. It focused on it's imperfection daily and decided it could no longer carry on with it's job. The following morning it said to it's owner "Please leave me behind today. I'm totally useless. I can't hold it all in you see. All I ever do is leak the water out. I'm not worthy to be a pot. I don't want to do it anymore." His owner smiled and said to him. "Oh you are so wrong. Don't you see those flowers growing along that trail? Have you noticed they are all on your side? You are most valuable indeed. Without you, those flowers would never have got watered and I'd have no flowers to grace my journey." So it is with God Philly. He is the potter and we are all of us clay pots. You are very valuable indeed both here at LL and everywhere else. Gia

Gia's post reminds me of something I read the other day, here: http://www.kerismith.com/blog The quote Keri used: "We start out whole. Complete. Along the way, we may feel that something is wrong, or missing. We aren't the way we'd like to be or the way we think we should be. A crossroads, a new stage in life, a turning point, a crisis, when we feel we may crack, or we do crack, can be a difficult, frightening time. And, sometimes we deliberately crack our own bowl. With time and great care and tender patience, we can reexamine the pieces, knowing that when we are ready, a solution will come. We can glue the pieces back together. This bowl looks far more interesting, more beautiful than before it broke. The pieces are the same, but it's a different bowl than when I started. -Sue Bender fr. Everyday Sacred"
