awww, pix! trillian - i was thinking of you last night. i finished a book called "The Queen's Fool" by Philippa Gregory. i couldn't put the dang thing down. it's 1550 england court intrigue stuff, but so well written - absolutely seamless. you have room for more summer reading??? IP: Logged |

hey jw, i'll be back - that is, if i don't get turned to the communist way of life. can't guarantee anything, though - i look great in blue and those little red books are so... shiny! deep - i've been debating the b&w film thing. the camera i'm taking is an automatic - so does that rule out the 1600 if i can't adjust manually for it??? Xelena...I have noted the book and will pick it up! I'm just finishing The Rule of Four, not a bad read at all. So I'm looking for my next book...perhaps you have found it for me. Have a wonderful trip, beautiful lady. You'll be missed. IP: Logged |

Mmm, my favorite color is blue My personal opinion is that you look best in red, white and blue Stars optional Well, don't buy any imitation yak cheese. The communists copy and export everything IP: Logged |

thanks yin - yup, it's almost time to go. we just got our passports/visas back FedEx - nothing like a little last-minute stress to add to the adventure!i'm not a huge fan of red, jw, but if i remember correctly Tink may have some stars i could borrow... one of mt favorite games to play in Asia is "name that copyright infringement" - the KFC knock-offs even have a Colonel Saunders-type mascot that bears a surprising resemblance to Chairman Mao. I do have a few stars left in my pocket, Xelena. And I would gladly share them with you, my friend. So this evening I will toss my stars up into the night sky and when you stand in the High Holy Land, away from the smoke and smog and confusion, look up and you will see my little stars shining their blessings down upon you. Godspeed tink IP: Logged |
