Just to confirm Philbirds theory of Gia. The brief synopsis in two words. Really odd!I'd like to know if any of you knowflakes out there can share any views you may have regarding Aliester Crowley and his work. I am particularly interested in his Astrum Argentum [Silver Star] and wondered if any of you can confirm or dispute the theory that he was talking about Sirius. I mention this because in his work he talks about God living in Dog - the Dog Star? I am also interested in Lam. Anyone know anything about Lam other than the fact he was a supposed to be a being from another planet? Any views, comments, or speculations would be very appreciated. Thank you. Gia IP: Logged |

Gia, Did I say you were odd? I thought Jay called you old, or did I post that somewhere else? I have no clue of the people you speak of. But I'd like to know more.

Old!?I checked it was old, but I thought it was 'odd' for some 'odd' reason. Perhaps I'm both! Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh Heb Translated it means. I am that I am. No I'm not Jewish. If anyone should ask. How is Jay doing? I'd love to see a photo. He sounds a real cutie. Gia IP: Logged |

Aphrodite,Oh Aphrodite that sound Sooooo mysterious! I love Aphrodite you know. Have you been to Paphos Cyprus? I have been several times. My father is Greek. Legend says that Aphrodite stepped ashore not far from the old temple city in Paphos. I've sat on her rock don't you know, and it is there she used bathe herself in the spring at Akamas overlooking Khrysokhou Bay. There she founded her immortal kingdom and all the Gods wished to marry her. How romantic is that? Euripides wrote: "O to visit Cyprus, Aphrodite's island Where Erotes Dwell, who stroke Their spell on Mortal men. Gia P.S. Do people from Regulus take a lot of fibre? IP: Logged |

Hi Gia,I have not traveled to Greece yet. Island hopping is on my list of things to do one of these days. What you said sounds similar to a painting Venus de Milo stands on, was it an oyster shell? Thank you for sharing the poem by Euripedes. It rings true! One very good one written by Ovid describes how Aphrodite wanted Hades to fall in love and advised Eros to shoot an arrow into his heart. I'll leave the details of how he pursued Persephone to your imagination. Have you looked up information about the Dogon Tribe before? They have known about the existence of the Dog Star for thousands of years. There may be clues there on the quest with Astrum Argentum. I sense Aliester Crowley may be a guide to something bigger for you. Love, Aphrodite IP: Logged |
