Sorry for the late notice--but Bono is on The O'Reilly Factor on Fox News tonight. 8 pm EDST...but I believe it will be repeated at 11 p.m. EDST.An interesting mix this will be...I am breathless with anticipation. But Bono can easily have that effect on me. IP: Logged |

What did you think, Proxie?*swoon* I just love that man. And Bill O'Reilly was respectful towards Bono. *sigh* So lovely to hear an Irish accent again. And my goodness but he just makes my heart and head go pitty-pat. Imagine. A rock star who uses his fame to change the world. IP: Logged |

He really was, respectful that is.As I sat on the couch feeding Meg, Jase was in the kitchen finishing up dinner and shouting, "I love Bono!" It was a very interesting interview - I can always watch Bono do his thing-, and Jase had his own opinion of it ("O'Reilly was just throwin' out questions, and Bono was like,'Pop, scramble, scramble, Pop," said while acting-out a guy going through a table tennis match).

Oddly, Proxie, today's edition of USA Today characterized Bill as being "patronizing" towards Bono. I didn't see that at all. He challenged Bono...but that's what a good interviewer does. Well, I guess Bill is always a bit patronizing to everyone, but it was so subdued with Bono. IP: Logged |

I don't see how telling someone that they're "doing God's work" is patronizing... I mean, O'Reilly was coarse and sounded on the edge of sarcasm in some of his statements, but that's just him. I don't think he could take that edge out of his voice if we was talking to the Pope. IP: Logged |
