*whines*

Proxie,

When's my little Pisces girl gonna quit whining?! She is driving me up the wall. Today is a whiney day for her. The sound of her whine gets on my last nerve!!!

She's the cutes sweetest little girl. Like an angel... half the time. The other half, she's whining or just bawling over something that seems pretty insignificant to everyone else.

Tolerance, Danielle, Tolerance. Must not lose patience with the kiddo...

Prox.... HELP!!! What do I do about it? Is there a way around it? Will she EVER grow out of it??????

I'd like to give you a good answer, but all I can tell you is that there was a period in my life when my Libran Dad called me "Corri-Whiner" (yeah, that's good for a kid's psyche).
Luckily, I could then just have a pity party with my Pisces Sun/Cancer Asc Mom.

Fish are sensitive to a lot of things that all but perhaps other Water Suns pick up on - a good deal of which are so vague and passing as to be either purely imaginary or not even registerable to those who the Pisces are picking up the vibes from...or, you know, some combination of the two.
("Just what was *that* look - or phrase, or action, or gesture, or minor temperature change or variance in wind direction all about...?")
Then, if their concerns and observations aren't registered immediately by those around them, they whine until they're heard.
They, of course, don't realize that they're whining - they're just making sure that you really do get what the feeling that they're trying to tell you about.
The best advice I have is just to listen to what she's whining about. That alone really does do a world of good for Water Peeps - ask anyone who's ever sat down and really listed to a Cancer's woes. Even Scorps seem helped by it, but chances are if they're baring their soul to you, you've already undergone an extensive screening process and you should consider the fact that they're complaining to you a something to not be sneezed at.
If whatever's ailing her can be reasonably changed, help her find ways to fix it (just changing it to make her quit will only serve to re-enforce whatever Piscean helplessness she may already have). If it can't, help her find different ways to look at it - perspective really is the whole ball of wax with a Fish.

Or you can just tell her to get over at it and laugh at her. I wouldn't recommend that, though - that's what my 'rents did, and I've a terribly aspected Moon.

Thanks Prox.

Yeah... I'm not just going to tell her to get over it and laugh. Woudln't work anyway. She'd just keep whining... probaly moreso. Or, worse... the bawling would kick in.

The look of pain on this childs face when she is bawling about something is excruciating just to look at.

I try to make her aware of the whining... but you're absolutely right. She's completely unaware of it. I really believe she can't be made aware of it... at least not at this age (6).

I suppose the Scorp Moon doesn't help this much, if water is the culprit (for lack of a better word).

I suppose I am just hearing the whining, and not really what she has to say.

It's funny... the answer is so simple. Just listen to her... work through the problem. LOL. go figure.

Thanks sweetness
