I know this is probably rather unlikely, but you never know who may be reading this.I am trying to trace a very elusive religious sect. 'The Brotherhood of the White Knights' They are not a KKK group or anything like that. They are a religious order that have an unbroken lineage all the way to Saint John. It is of great importance to me that I find them. Any leads would be welcome. They are not on the net, do not advertise, seek no publicity and from what I know, never seem to stay in any one place for long periods of time. Gia

Gia, are they based in the US or are you not sure? I like the name, visions of Lord of the Rings type scenarios spring to mind ------------------ "The past is history, the future is a mystery, & this moment is a gift.. that's why it's called 'the present'." Anon IP: Logged |

I found; Knights of the Solar Cross - who are apparently the lineage and work of the Great White Brotherhood, a detailed analysis of The Great Work linking together original Christianity (Jesus the Master) , Qabbalism, Crowley's O.T.O. Thelema, Theosophy and the Sirius - probably not the same thing right? The other info I found in reference to Brotherhood of the White Knights , is in a draft from; Valiant: Out Of Babylon Book One Of The Trilogy By King Nuntukamen CHAPTER ONE quote: Many solar cycles ago, Valiant had taken his vow before the Brethren as an honored new member in The Brotherhood of White Knights. It was a cherished and highly sought after position. White Knights represented all the very best in humankind continuous throughout the entire Universe. And White Knights knew no fear except what they observed in others. Now an Elder, Valiant's vow was one that he would hold for time in memoriam. He had sworn an Allegiance to all who were in need of protection, regardless of the levels of evil, no matter how great or small. And the vow was to honor and to serve and to defend. Always; without fail. It was incontrovertible. It was for all lifetimes, through all of time, and across all space. Nothing could ever change it; it was the ultimate definition of a permanent and petrel commitment. It celebrated an element of character that acknowledges the greatest values that human existence has to share, and protectively perpetuates those values throughout all entreaty. It was the heart and soul of The Defender. Very few White Knights ever reached that status.
I know it's probably fictional, however some parrallels are struck from stories http://www.integritytech.com/valchap.html Interesting what you discover on different journeys! ------------------ "The past is history, the future is a mystery, & this moment is a gift.. that's why it's called 'the present'." ..or.. could it be something to do with the Knights of Malta since they went back to St.John? If the Brotherhood of the White Knights is exclusive / elusive it would've probably changed names?Anyway, here's an interesting link; http://www.orderofmalta.org.uk/history.htm IP: Logged |

Yes, I've already been there and looked at that. They are a direct lineage to John and so I thought they would be associated with Malta, but they are not. The have and always will be called the Brotherhood of the White Knights. There are many other groups and Knight Brotherhoods. However this Brotherhood is not based in any one place. It's permanent fabric or headquarters are the people within it's circle. This task has been difficult, a challenge I don't yet know I'll be able to complete. Thanks Sheaa. Your quote is not as fictional as you think. Gia IP: Logged |

I love challeneges OK, so they're a permanent fabric of people on the go - just to check - they'll definitly keep the name Brotherhood of the White Knights? Also, I'm aware they exist for good, but why are they so elusive? Have they had opposition? IP: Logged |

They are not a sect you can just join, nor is it a Brotherhood like an association, club, or spiritual community as such. They are elusive due to the nature of their work. They never seek new members. They just are.I'm not permitted to say any more at this stage. I'm sorry Sheaa, I can tell you that they are sometimes referred to as The Order of the White Knights also. You don't normally seek them. They normally seek you. Gia IP: Logged |

Talamasca, from the Anne Rice novels? Gia, I have seen them mentioned in books here and there, but confess I don't recall much. Are these those of whom you speak? Nevermind...this "order of the White Knights" link was to a nasty organization. IP: Logged |

Well I guess they do have some of the same abilities as the Talamasca. It is said that like the Talamasca they do not need to speak, they read minds. It is also said that they can be in front of you and morph themselves at will. They are often somewhere very populated and not seen. The work they do is of a different nature to the Talamasca. I'm afraid that is all I'm willing to say. I actually don't know all that much myself. I only know what my teacher has passed on to me. Chances are that I'm unlikely to find them. Sometimes, a quest is just an intent and nothing more. The man I wish to speak with knows who he is and he probably knows why. Gia IP: Logged |

Dear Tink,I'm sorry to sound dense but I've been working all day and I'm tired. Do you wish to ask if the Knights are of mixed race? I know one looked oriental. That is all I can tell you. Gia IP: Logged |

Funny!! No, Gia, of course not. You are well-versed in these matters. As you stated, you were searching for a "White Knight". Knowing full well that Knights of both schools exist, my hope is that you found one walking the Path of Virtue. Or rather, that he found you.IP: Logged |
