You probably have all heard about this- Conan's gonna be taking over Leno's spot when he retires in 2009. This makes me go YAY- I absolutely loff Conan's show, and Leno annoys me a wee bit.Any thoughts? ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." IP: Logged |

I hope that doesn't mean he has to tone himself down to appeal to a different audience.IP: Logged |

I LOVELOVELOVE Conan. That is one show I really miss. (I'm one of those nuts who doesnt watch TV) I hope he doesnt have to tone himself down either (but he probably will )I agree Everlong - Leno's annoying. IP: Logged |

I heard that part of the reason for assuring him the spot when Leno leaves in 2009 is Conan's current popularity. They're betting that by that time, those w/ which he's popular now will be going to sleep a bit earlier ...I've also heard that his most likely competition (should Letterman ever retire) is Jon Stewart. I am sad that Jay will be retiring, but all good things come to an end. Anyway he will only be gone in 2009- still a long way away.I am somewhat surprised that Conan is taking over.I mean he is different to Jay. But the question I must ask is- Who will take over Conan's show when he leaves for Tonight Show? IP: Logged |

Conan is absolutely one of my all time favorite TV personalities. He's been underated for a very long time, and I don't believe he will tone it down, since much of his comedy bits like Truimph the Comic Insult dog will always be around. -StarLover IP: Logged |
