Ok, it says "talk about anything you like"..so I'm just gonna post it here cause I dont know where else would be good for this question.
Its just a question, it has nothing to do with me.
Lets say...this girl was 10 years old and her neighbour, hes 17-19 years old. and this guy hangs out with this girl, kinda babysits her, just plays with her right outside of her house and her parents know and everything. And one day, everyone is playing hide and seek or something, and he takes her to the back or somewhere quite and he starts touching her. And this starts to happen all the time. He never has sex with her, but he "humps' her...touches her ass, rubs himself aganist her...
and the girl never said anything or didnt know what do, and it never really bothered her cause she never knew what was going on or what it was that he was doing. And now lets say the girl is 17-19 now and she still hasnt told a single soul. Ofcourse this was long time ago and they had moved several times and the girl hasnt seen him since.
what would you call that? is that rape or what?
like I said this question has nothing to do with me...i just want to know. Its for a scene I'm doing and I just want to know if this would be called rape.

rape - The crime of forcing another person to submit to sex acts, especially sexual intercourse.

That's the definition of the word. Technically, yes it would be considered rape. However, if it was a real situation, I think that most people would call it child molestation.

If I were playing that character, I would show how it was "emotional" rape, but physical molestation.

I would call that child molestation. If the girl doesn't talk to someone about this and get it out, as she gets older the supressed memories will come back flashbacks.

*IF* this girl does exist, encourage her to talk to a professional about this issue.

The self worth of anyone who has been through something like this is seriously affected.
