OMG!!!One of hubby's co-workers has offered for us to rent out her house. She is applying for a job in Germany. She has one more interview to go through, then has to wait 7-12 weeks for some kind of German clearance. She owns a beautiful house here. She's offered to rent it out for $300/mo. She offered to pay water/sewer/garbage. We'd be responsible for electric/phone/cable... that sort of thing. OMG! $300/mo for a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, (sunken) livingroom, familyroom, garage, huge yard. OOOh.. I'm so excited! I can hardly believe it. BUT, this means I have to move AGAIN IP: Logged |

She would have a two year contract with the company. At that point she could re-up if she wanted.Basically, since she knows us, she wants us to babysit her house while she's gone. IP: Logged |

Sounds like it's worth the move. How much per month could you save on rent? Bank the difference, and you could have a tidy sum towards downpayment on your own home in two years. IP: Logged |

aqua, Yes. BUT, as Trill said... It's an excellent oppertunity to save up for a house of our own. She would be gone for at lease 2 years.IP: Logged |
