Things here are going pretty well. SF is SF, what can I say? Are there any Knowflakes are nearby? What do you think about the recent warm weather? I think it's sorta yucka. I've been sleeping with all my windows open in the apartment.

In November, I will be in New York City for a few days. First time traveling there! Woohoo! I may go to London in December if all goes well with traveling in the hostel circuit. February or March are planned for an expedition in Patagonia and then I'll be spending a week or two in Rome with my cousin in the summer.

How's transiting Saturn in Cancer treating everyone? It's been kicking my butt, but thankfully I've learned to go with the flow thanks to good old esoteric wisdom.

If you meant Hostels, then I went to www.statravel.com. Hostel International's accomodations look pretty good and the price is right @ around $30 a night in NYC.

I'm sorry to hear that the transits are going bad for you too. I had to move my mom and younger brother out of a domestic violence situation earlier this year. I didn't anticipate how hard the transition would be for them. It's been terrible to see the aftermath effects even when they are in a safe situation. But I keep on truckin', sending them light & love, and leave room for the moments when everything just goes to hell.

I'm on the outskirts of Sacramento. We can't keep our windows open due to all the smoke from recent fires. In fact, the children came home from school today stating that they upgraded the condition to "toxic", stay inside if possible. Yuck, yuck, yuck!

This week's air has been terrible. In addition to the heat, we have been coughing and choking from the fires. Our whole county has been polluted; the skies are smokey-grey with a slight orange tint. The Sunset is bright orange because of the smoke. Bleck, bleck. I was sick with the flu and that made it even harder to breathe. I could taste the smoke in my mouth. It would be nice to see a clear blue sky for a change. Looking forward to the rain this weekend sometime?

I'm so glad to hear Claire is loving the cat. Happy Belated 5th Birthday to her! Do you have birthday pictures? She has the most beautiful blue eyes I'd ever seen anybody have. Are they turquoise?

Hmm, the outskirts can get pretty wild when it comes to Sacramento . We used to drive to a Catholic church on Jackson Road. Aren't the fires terrible? They happen almost every summer because it gets so dry in the Valley.
