No worries, pixelp re: the emotional..ity...
or something.I'm convinced that motherhood makes us that way, so you can blame that. Yesterday we drove up to a bookstore to pick-up an application so I can work weekends and to get Meghan something as I'm now unapologetically addicted to children's books. This book had me bawling in the ailes.
I then took it, teary-eyed, to Jason, and said, "I was crying over this book...and it's your fault...you did this to me," then handing it to him. Oh, gawd, just looking at its description on Amazon.com's got me sniffly.

OH! I cannot read that book without bawling... my daughter discovered that.
I sing the "love you forever" part.*and the very big man took his very small mother in his arms, and gently rocked her back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, and as he rocked her he sang.. "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my mommy you'll be."

OMG... Kayla's Kinder teacher read that book to us at a Mother's Day party... the whole class of moms were sobbing! Me too of course. I can't resist a good cry.... but then later, I was thinking about it... and it's really a little weird, if you think about it. But still very touching!

what am I doing now....
I was born at 12:20 am, 28 years ago today..so when I got home from work tonight ( very busy shift) My hubby made sure the kiddies were bedded and cleaned and sleeping, the house was cleaned, and there was a fresh clean sheet on the couch on which to 'play'. So I played for an hour or so, then am winding down here.
Tomorrow morning my mama is coming over to give me a gift *YAY!!!PRESENTS!!!* and then on to the in-laws house for dinner.. I will try to be enthusiastic. And in reverence to the day, drunk.
Then I will buy sexy long black boots with the inevitable gift certificates, to wear with my costume on Saturday and sunday. 
Yep.. sounds like a good day for me.
Reminds me.. you never did post about your adult birthday party..... or did I just miss it?

I don't know if I did or not.It was fun. We made Skip-n-Go-Nadeds for the group. Bunch o' friends (old and new) came. Was fun. Got pretty sloshed. Made the mistake of smoking after drinking... Spins... pukes... All in all, it was a GREAT night!!
**Recipe**
18 cheap beers
6-7 cans of concentrated lemonade
1 fifth of Vodka (you don't have fifths up there, huh?... a quart, maybe??)
