... just doesn't add up, dafWhy would Shizukeliedivisuru purposely fake their IP to all be the same? Just doesn't make sense. Would make a lot more sense if Shizukeliedivisuru made it a point to post everywhere but the same exact IP address... but that's not the case. Lies were told about being in Iran when in fact they are in the Pac NW. IP Spoofing does not make sense in this situation. IP: Logged |

"LET IT GO!"In my own time, and as I see fit. At this point, I see no reason to let misinformation stand. That is why the technique was posted. But of course, the standard reaction around here when someone points out that a moderator (or mod gro0pie) is blatantly in error is to attempt to sweep that error under the rug, attacking anyone who won't let it lie. (I need only point to the attacks against CanGuru as just one of many examples of this type of behavior.) I will CONTINUE to speak my mind for as long as I have that capacity. Prior to my posting this, individuals were in error about the possibility of IP spoofing, and the difficulty of IP spoofing. Your theories on why someone would or would not choose to fake their own IP or one very close to it are, again, irrelevant to me. My intention was to clear up the blatant misinformation about IP spoofing which was being presented as educated opinion here, and I believe that aim has been achieved. IP spoofing is possible, it is easy and anyone could do it. (Just follow the instructions in my previous post.) Peace, love and rockets, daf P.S. Heart & Soul. Thanks for noticing. I can only take credit for being about half as tolerant and patient as you give me credit for. Sometimes the verbal hit squad grinds on my nerves a bit more than I should probably let them. That is my failing, not theirs. They are only doing what they know best. In any event, thanks for the kind words. IP: Logged |

So, daf, we're gonna have to agree to disagree on this...Your belief in the possibility in IP spoofing is completely irrelevant to me. It defies common sense. IP: Logged |

just a little bit in Daf's defense, Intentional spoofing may be ridiculous in this situation, but it is not all that hard, and there are a few ways that the same thing could happen unintentionally. there are a number of internet proxy surfing sites that strip all information about IP adresses and such beyond th proxy, so anyone surfing through said proxy will appear to be the same. It is completely possible that they are all using the same proxy service. Lots of people use them because they allow anonymous web surfing, so that web sites you visit cannot gain information about your identity. This may sound like paranoia, but advertisers are alway gathering that information for their own purposes, some people do not want them to have it. the point he is making is that an IP log may seem convincing but it is not by any means 100% proof, worth investigating maybe, but I would check into who owns the IP first, before declaring that it is proof of shared identityIP: Logged |

Daf, I appreciate your input on this, and that explains the IP games by MZ after she was busted. Still, none of that detracts from the fact that I intuited a similar "energy," which led me to check the IPs in the first place (before anyone knew I was on to them). Instead of confessing that she posted the GURU drivel from her computer in Vancouver, MZ persisted in claiming that her "Master" was so powerful that he could post from her computer. And the ridiculous claims in Shizuka's final Post about her "Master" being able to *poof* anywhere he wishes and that he is best friends with Moses, etc. is beyond ludicrous. I just can't figure out if they are lying or are delusional, but either way, I'd say they need professional help (either counseling or something more pharmaceutical in nature). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Oh, Randall, I wouldn't argue with you for a second on the validity of your "gut feelings." I've done what I've had to do, and until you've been in the same situation I found myself in, you will not understand why. That's not your failing or mine, just a reality of the circumstances. The fact remains that IP information is highly fallible and will always remain so. I hope that the information I've posted here provides a lesson to that effect. Fishkitten, You have been and always will be one of the sweet spots in this place. I say that with the utmost sincerity and clarity of mind. (Ego's flexing a bit in this post, but, well, it has no hold on my heart. Even the rude mods have their place in my heart's embrace...I believe that you know my heart better than most, and so you would know that this is true.) Even when we have disagreed, you have been polite, loving, sincere and have almost always remained a reminder of what this place used to be like when it so resembled Linda and her writings. Grayheart, You've seen to the heart of my posts, and for that you receive high marks (from me) for perception. Misinformation and propaganda being presented as cold, hard facts will forever be the antithesis of what I believe in and what I stand for. It is for this reason that my OWN beliefs will ever be suspect first and foremost. I wouldn't be much of a defender of truth if I wasn't willing to admit when I have been wrong. F*** my ego, f*** my opinion and f*** my beliefs when they falter. Peace, daf IP: Logged |

IP info may be "highly fallible", but the fact remains that there was alot of shady crap going on here. And it was coming from the Shizuka/MZ/Guru person(s). Okay fine, people can fake IP adresses. Big deal. Why when confronted, did this person lie and come here spreading nastiness after? Truth always prevails - that's why it didnt, for that person, and they left. And I believe alot of us have "seen the heart of your posts". Some of them have been nice. And many people have told you this, including myself (many times). I have been extremely polite and sincere to you in the past. And I got a nasty poem, written by you, about myself and a few "chosen" other Knowflakes, that you kindly erased an apologized for. I will continue to treat you the way you treat me or most likely just ignore your posts. (I know, you'll like that. ) I'm just letting you know where I'm coming from, so maybe you'll stop the pity party your having for yourself about us "mean mods". You are not all peaches and cream yourself. Sometimes I will have something nice to say, and sometimes not. Like you, angel, I am not perfect. There is no need to refer to myself and other Mod's as "wild packs of hungry dogs", as you have in another post. You are just as bad as anyone else here. So dont feel so sorry for yourself when others give you the respect you give them and argue with you when you bump up old threads. I may be an "attack dog" to you, but you come across as a whining, spoiled brat, who constantly needs attention to me. I know you think you need to, stand up against misinformation and propagaganda, "Defender of Truth". But people really dont NEED to be blessed with YOUR definition of Truth all of the time. one of the "Rude Mods". lol We are "only doing what we know best". as you say. Is there a theater group you can join in your area? You may want to look into that. IP: Logged |

To quote deathnomore(aka Randall himself): quote: Teachings to the forefront, and the negativity of some of you is detracting others from the enjoyment of my Message. This thread consists of my opinion. If that invokes anger in you, then you need to look within for the maturity that is required on this discussion board. If you do not believe in immortality, desire to learn about immortality, or are at least open to the possibilities, then with Light, Love, and Peace, you need to move on to more palatable threads, and exercise your freedom of choice not to read what makes you so angry. -deathnomore (Randall)
You moved the threads, Randall because others reacted negatively and you decided to choose for them what they could read and what they couldn't. Hopefully it wasn't because I posted them. (At least I'd like to hope that you're not moving them simply because I posted them. That would be horribly unfair of you.) Anyone can read the latest thread that you've moved to Global Unity (The Most beautiful day of my life) and see that I was simply engaging in some cryptic, but polite back and forth with Petron, when others came in and started spouting venom. Place the finger of blame squarely where it belongs, Randall, not where you would like it to fall. DeathNoMore (YOU) made a very valid point when he said that the responsibilty for this horrible contention you speak of comes from the readers. Playing politics with the facts will only backfire when the facts are examined. daf IP: Logged |
