Well golly gee, I do love Jackie Chan's cute little gymnastic butt. It's poetry in motion. However, Bruce Lee is missed.I watched Around the World in 80 Days (with Jackie Chan) this morning, while sitting on my purple plate! (calls to hubby "sweetie, want some stress relief?") IP: Logged |

26t,Do I practice Aikido? On and off over the years...Reminds me of a story I was at a party which, by sheer coincidance, happened to have one or two aikido black belts present. After playing some aikido games with one black belt and entering into an intense discussion about how the philosophy and practice of aikido interlinked (his practical aikido was far superior to mine)... Anyway, where was I? Ahh, yes. I asked my new friend: "Do you fight with your heart or your hara?" He paused in profound surprise and said that noone had ever asked him that question. When he allowed the question to sink deeper, past his intellect and preconceptions, he finally laughed and demonstrated his understanding of the point. Enjoy the book. It is the best guide to conflict I have ever read. Thank you for reminding me of it. Regards,

some attack-tics concepts.... ********** *not all conflicts are contests*loss is not necessarily defeat *conflict is a part of the natural order of things *the purpose of conflict is harmony from- "Aikido in Everyday Life: Giving in to Get Your Way" by Terry Dobson and Victor Miller IP: Logged |
