HHhmmmmmmmm.. tasty. I like vinegar on things too... especially green beans. But to gargle? I might not be able to. Keep up the suggestions!! I need a cache of things to try. Thank you! I am eating a warm soothing bowl of oatmeal right now. Mmmmmmmmmmm... nourishing goodness I drank a bit last night at practice. I only had two ... but at the end of practice, I was happy there was a couch there I could lay down on. I don't think drinking will be a part of the itinerary, somehow. I like the part about not caring. IP: Logged |

Tell me about it, 26Taurus. I'm not so much stage shy as I am a horrible singer. And of course I never took the time to learn an instrument. But I truly sing very very badly. IP: Logged |

Do you envy me?Just checking - in these parts they insist I still "have it" ... 26T - Have you ever sang Kar-i-o-kee? Try it just to see what you end up doing in front of a crowd. At first, you're like - no, oh, no, not me - and after that you can't wait til it's your turn again. Funny as helll. IP: Logged |

Yin, True to my Taurean nature I am musical. I can sing and love to really belt it out while driving in my car. But I could never go on stage and do it in front of anyone. Ugghh I get butterflies just thinking about it. And I taught myself guitar. I got an acoustic and a book and learned how to play. Even though you think you sing badly do you still sing in your car or in the shower when no one's around? Or is your voice so bad that even you cant stand it? LOL AJ ~ I did do Kar-i-ikee once. (it's easier with a few beers in you) I sang with a friend though. I thought I was going to pass out. I was one of those annoying people who gets on the mic and sings really quietly. I was shaking the mic, pretending it was broken or something. LOL! I think we sang a Beatles song. I dont even remember, I was so traumatized I've erased it out of my memory. I have Saturn in Leo and I've read that people with that placement were perfomers in past lives and alot of us have stage fright or trouble expressing ourselves in public because of having bad experiences (Saturn) with being in the spotlight (Leo). They got shot while on stage or had other horrible experiences while being in the spot light.. I know pixie has this placement too though....but it's in her first house so maybe she's more in touch with that Saturn in Leo....it being her rising sign and all..... Interesting..... IP: Logged |

I will say though, that for most people, I think you are right astro - once they try it once, they cant wait to do it again. My boyfriend for example. Whenever we go out to this certain bar that has kareoke he turns into a mic hog. I love it when he sings Billy Idol's "White Wedding". LOL He's got a reeeeeally deep voice, so it's hilarious. One time I thought I was alone in a gymnasium with a microphone. I belted out "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and a teacher said I had a beautiful voice. I was shocked! I never sang after that. I do know I don't have a good voice, but I always wanted to be a singer. The Nora Jones type. Oh, and I played the flute, wasn't very good. I was musically dyssexlic.IP: Logged |

Naah, 26, I like audience - usually sing in the company of my man or someone as close as he is. He's told me that maybe if I took some lessons my singing won't be that terrible but that's not good enough fo me. I want to sing great or to not bother at all. I do it for fun and to annoy him sometimes Something I firmly believe though is that if you have the talent - please get out there and explore, take advantage of it! I'm sure that if it is your passion to sing you will find the way and the courage to do it! Where do you think your stage fright comes from?IP: Logged |

I agree. I think we've all got some music in us somewhere. You should look into lessons! I know when I have kids, I definitely want to get them into some kind of musical lessons. I wish I had started earlier. And LOL yes, it can be fun to annoy your man with your singing....I know all about that. IP: Logged |

I'm a part time piano teacher and you guys MUST GIVE YOUR KIDS MUSIC lessons, if you can at all afford it. It is the most amazing investment you can ever make for your child, besides education of course. If not music, art, or sports, dance, kids must have a passion, they will become more interesting and happy adults. I don't know what I would do without music, its the greatest and most stable thing in my life. And kids brains are most impressionable between 5-12 so start em early!Pixie: When you get better we must do the following: 1.My cap rising will take your cap moon out for a fine dinner and dancing. 2.My sag sun will get your leo rising extremely drunk and we will make a loud scene. 3.My scorpio moon will take your scorpio sun home....bow chicka wow wow (porn music) j/k IP: Logged |

I actually know quite a few gay saggies, but of course i know gay people of every sign. Seems like gay earth signs are the most rare, but that might just be cause i don't usually dig earth signs, or because they're less conspicuous. IP: Logged |

BR, I couldn't agree more about extracurricular activities for the little ones. Both my kids are in Gymnastics right now. They've also been in dance. Not only does it give them a creative outlet, but it also provides more social experience. IP: Logged |

Actually i know one, but shes not 18 yet, shes the lil sis of a friend of mine. I do however have an extremely cool libra lesbian friend, although she hasn't admitted to being a lesbian yet. (damn libra sun/cap moon square is pretty tough on her) Whens your bday Yin?Ya LibraSParkle its the best, when I have kids I'm gonna educate them with music and athletics, but hopefully not overburden them. (some of my piano students are TOO tired from doing 18394928 extracurricular activities) IP: Logged |

Yeah... they're kids, by all means... let them be kids.My kids (6 & 8) are only allowed 1 extracurricular activity... any one... I don't care what it is. AND, they can't quit until they've got something to replace it with. (Although, hubby's been giving our oldest guitar lessons lately) IP: Logged |
