I don't think I really would go back and change anything, as I feel like I keep getting stronger and I have learned a lot of lessons through my hardships...buuut

I do kind of wish I didn't get involved in certain things when I did. But I learned from those too :P

I would however go back and change how seriously I took everything during my 2 years in college. I think I would go back and just have more fun, be more lighthearted, more open to new things back then, more social.

Wow, I was just thinking about this today. If I could go back in time, I would change one thing. My highschool sweetheart, I would have spoke to him different, and maybe been more supportive of him. I think if I woulda done all that he wouldnt have broken up with me the way he did...it was awful. His memory still comes back to haunt me and I havent even seen him in almost 8 years.

No regrets.

Wouldn't change anything.

For each action, there is a reaction. To change anything might mean losing something else.

There are lots of things I would like to have changed in my past, but now I know that things happen for a reason and I am happy where I am in my life now- so I wouldn't want to change anything!

Even though I would have rather gone to university than college( finished college anyway)but I have come to realise that if I had gone to university, I would HAVE NOT met this really awesome person who amazes me beyond belief and who is now an ex- lecturer of mine, even though we still chat to each other.
So things certainly happen for a reason!

Oooh there's a lot. I try to stay positive and see it as lessons. But if I could pick one... just one... would be to treat and appreciate my ex better, to make better memories, so I wouldn't walk around feeling like the world has betrayed me.

To have been awake when our son was born....

I had a c.section and they "knocked" me out....

It took me years to come to terms with that...

I will only say that in my own life, everything has happened for a reason;to teach me valuable life lessons. I don't know if I could say that for someone who has suffered a tragedy of some sort.

I guess I would change nothing in my life

There is a lot I would have changed, but scared to.

So many "what ifs" and so many "unknowns"... butterfly effect?

This topic reminded me of a song:

"A Lot Of Things Different"

by: Kenny Chesney

I'd spend a lot more time in the pouring rain without an umbrella
Covering my head
And I'd stood up to that bully when he pushed and called me names
But I was too afraid
And I'd a gone on and saw Elvis that night he came to town
But mama said I couldn't
And I'd a went skinny dipping with Jenny Carson that time she dared me to
But I didn't

Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different

I wished I'd a spent more time with my dad when he was alive
Now I don't have the chance
I wish I had told my brother how much I loved him before he went off to war
But I just shook his hand
And I wish I had gone to church on Sunday morning when my grandma begged me too
But I was afraid of God
And I wish I would've listened when they said Boy, you're gonna wish you hadn't
But I wouldn't

Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different

People say they wouldn't change a thing, even if they could
Oh but I would

There was this red dress she wanted one time so bad she could taste it
And I should've bought it, but I didn't
She wanted to paint our bedroom yellow and trim it blues and greens
But I wouldn't let her, wouldn't a hurt nuthin
She loved to be held and kissed and touched but I didn't do it
Not nearly enough
And if I'd a known that dance was going to be our last dance
I'd a asked that band to play on and on on and on

Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different

People say they wouldn't change a thing, even if they could
Oh but I would
Oh whoa Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different
Oh I, I'd done a lot of things
I think we'd all do a lot of things different

Hiya Kamilla, for me it wasn't the marriage that was a problem, since it was only short lived at 4 weeks, but i was fooled into getting married to a psycho (psycho patient) since it was an arranged marriage and perhaps do I regret? You bet, since I went against my intuitions into it. No one to blame though.

Might be, but a great learning experience, and have polished whatever "rough" edges I had, helped me realize further on what I really am!

I thought about this before, if I could have changed this and that - but you know…I like the person I’ve turned out to be...flaws included

Sure, I suffered in the past, but that suffering would have occurred one way or another. You can’t really escape destiny/karma. Just be glad it’s over and done with.
