I just read this book and had to tell you guys/gals all about it. It is by far THE best, most life changing book I've ever read. I cant even describe the effect is has had on me. I've read alot of books on the power of positive thinking and how to manifest things in your life, but this is by far the best one yet on the subject. It gives you a valuable key point, that most books have left out, as to what you are doing (without even realizing it) to block the flow of good things into your life. Whether you just want to be happier, or you want a new relationship, more money, a better job, a new car - anything! This book tells you how to go about manifesting any or all of these things into your life. And it's fun and simple! And most important - it is our birthright. We are meant to be joyful and living abundant lives, no matter what you've been told. Life wasnt meant to be a struggle. Once you figure out the ways you were unknowingly blocking the flow of good things into your life and start to undo them, you sit back amazed and watch it start flowing in. It's all about the Law of Attraction and Cause and Effect. What you are giving out, you are getting. Whether you want to or realize it or not. You are the reason for every single thing going on in your life. You are NOT a pawn on a chessboard being moved around against your will (unless you choose to be). Nothing is left to chance. I know alot of you cant believe that right now, but it is very true. You are not helpless - being blown around by the breezes. Unless you still want to believe that is the way things are, than you will continue to wonder why things happen the way they do and blame it on fate. Or you can decide to take control and use your own free will to change it all. Your life is not set in stone, it is meant to be created by you, with your own thoughts and free will, just the way you like it. I've read many books along these same lines, as I'm sure alot of you have, but this is by far the best. I wondered why, when I knew how these laws worked, did they not work consitantly every time. And why life continued to feel out of control and like a rollercoaster ride. Now I know what I was doing wrong without even realizing it. The best part is that is has helped me become extremely happy and get out of a slump. It teaches you a few tequniques in opening up your awareness to certain things you are feeling and thinking so you can never let anything affect you negativly again, if you choose not to. You just have to read it for yourself and see the simple yet POWERFUL teachings within it. I hope some of you pick it up and it has the same effect on you as it did (does) me. 26 *runs off to manifest her reality* lol PS. Dont tell me you are happy with things, exactly the way they are in your life. Sure, you may be happy. But you can always be happier! We are creative beings, ever expanding and ALWAYS creating our own realities. We are never done. (it has already started working for me)

I am soooo aware of synchronicity. SOOOOOOOOO aware, to mention it all just sems silly, but you know how I love to share. Tonight, my husband was waxing poetic. *It ws nice* about how happy he is, and how he wants absolutely nothing different. I thought to myself..."Nothing at all? I'm sure you can think of something to strive towards." I didn't say that though, as I know he was just expressing happiness and why should I ruin that by analysing it. I am happy that he is happy. But the point is, I thought it.... then I read this, and heck, I thought this TONIGHT!!!!! And logged on here after 2 am. Crazy Lindaland connectedness. Night sweethearts!!!! IP: Logged |

Hey chickies. Trill, Cool! Yes, I think you'd really like the book. I was just reading one of your posts in UC and you said: "What's so wrong with being selfish?" YES! You are so right on. They talk about that in this book too. We MUST be selfish! Not in the way that most people think of selfishness though. No, I havent read the Michael books. Ive heard of them though. I'll check it out. Thanks! Hey Sparkle! Yep, definitely worth it. Hope the new job's going well. How are you liking it? Wow pix! I've been having quite a number of coinkydinks myself......hehe....'dinks'.....*ahem* Where was I? Oh yes. That's pretty cool. Yes, I believe too, that no matter how happy we are, we can always create even more happiness in our lives. How nice that your husband feels so happy, that he loves things just the way they are though. That's really sweet. I love those moments. When you stop and say to yourself, "You know? I'm so lucky. I'm very blessed. Everything is perfect in my life." I hope things just keep getting better for the both of you. IP: Logged |

Okay, let's see if this posts. My computer had a meltdown earlier.....AWESOME, Trill and VTT!!! Indeed, let me know what you think. I've been doing the processes in the back since I finished reading it. There are 22 of them and you can pick a few to do that feel right to you, to help you manifest. I liked the "Rampage of Appreciation" one, "Evaluating Dreams", and a few others. *dancing* "Come on everybody! Let's manifest!" LOL! Sawsan! I would love to meet you too! By the way, you mentioned in another thread, that you gave your email address to the administrator to give to me. He's probably been really busy so I just wanted to let you know, you can email me by going into the Lexigram Magic forum and clicking on my name up near the left hand corner of the page. I'm a moderator there. Talk to you lovlies soon! IP: Logged |

Heres a good mantra:"I refuse to accept any energy that contradicts the unlimited power that is within me, and I am moving on with my manifestation" And know this The right people will appear at the right moment to assist you in your manifestation.

Yay! I got my hands on a copy today and read up to Chapter 9 while at Borders (I can only read so much in one sitting, and then need to let the material digest in my brain). WOW is all I can say. Some of it was kind of a kick in the ass, but I've also had the weird occurrence of everything that did, were things I've heard 2 other times from other sources THIS WEEK!!! It is like the world is screaming for me to realize these things. One of those was that you create your own reality. I first off had to define the meaning of reality used in the book (seems like it is more about perception) as I can't imagine I created a horrible economy, tsunamis and whatnot myself. But it really really seems to be talking about perceptions. And a lot of my own are rather negative. It really is a kick in the ass for me to realize I created my own hell in a sense. It makes total sense though, as I could never figure out why some of my friends prospered while others failed in similar situations. I've also in the past played roles, for fun, just to see a different perspective. It's such a new, strange concept for me to digest. But exciting, because it means I can go ahead and totally change my own reality. Also, where it talks about thinking about the absence of something is making the absence of it continue, and even thinking a negative about something is still saying yes to it really creeps me out. The absence part really hit me hard, as that's how my thinking really tends to be. Lately I've just felt like I've had an absence of so much! Also it really drives it home to me in astrology, as that's what my Chiron position is all about. So yeah I"m hoping Friday or Saturday is nice enough to drive back to Borders haha! I noticed someone else mentioned synchronicity, and I swear that is what is occurring with me lately. Earlier this week I was talking to someone who is into Zen, and he was talking a lot about just having a positive attitude, and writing affirmations in present tense, such as, "i am working at a job that is comfortable". And then I read this book called "The Magic Lamp: Goal Setting For People Who Hate Setting Goals", and a lot of the stuff about affirmations, and believing that you have whatever your goal is going for rather than thinking of the absence. Hey Virgo You certainly do create your own reality... to define reality I think really all attempts are futile, you can describe your own reality, but to define something as dynamic as your own perception is not really reliable. Of course you didn't create the nature cataclysms, individually, that's nature itself responding to whatever energies have been given to her. It's the laws of Nature. You cannot interfere with laws of nature, although to expect harmonious reactions, you must give harmonious energies. Thinking- I've found is sometimes automatic based on assumptions, and borrowed thoughts, and apparently 90% percent of thoughts of a layman are negative. Absence of negative thoughts needs clear and persistant obeservation of the thinker. You catch yourself out with a negative thought, and to rid yourself from it you must question it and find out whether it's merely an assumption or ego, and question yourself on what basis do you make these assumptions? I love synchronicity, I describe it as life talking to you. It's a beautiful thing to be receptive to. Your able to see peices of yourself being put back into place. I have never said an affirmation/ or mantra, I have written them as reminders as to what I'm doing and why, like an energy booster. Its a good idea if your someone who has alot of things on the go at once. Especially if you are experiencing big changes in your life. It's all a part of our awesome existence.

VTT! Very cool! Yeah, it's alot to digest I imagine, if your not familiar with that whole line of thinking. Doesnt it make total sense though? It's like, OMG, I wish I knew this a long time ago. lol I'm also working on my negative thoughts. You dont realize you have so many until you really pay attention to them. My life has been amazingly synchronistic lately as well. It's your awareness rising. I'd recommend finishing it too, because Part Two of the book is EXTREMELY useful. Awesome!! Glad you liked it and found it interesting. Great thoughts neo. And thanks for those mantras! I'm going to use those. IP: Logged |

I had a wierd synch the other day, I was in the car with my partner, and the word/name "chandra" popped into my head..and I dont' really remember seeing or hearing about it other than reading something where an observatory was named Chandra, and there's a Chandra at Lindaland. Anway, it ran a de ja vous feeling through me, and when we arrived at my partners work, and I went into his office, on the customer files, the last entry was...CHANDRA... hmmm, what does Chandra symbolise..? What do you think 26T?IP: Logged |

Ah-ha! That's right. In autobiography of a Yogi, this man played a big part, Jagadis CHANDRA Bose. He's India's "great physicist, botanist, and inventor of the Crescograph."And I thought the word chandra meant moon in Sanskrit, so I looked it up and yes, it does. Dont know if that has a significance to you or not. Have you started Autobiography yet neo? Hope that helped or means something to you. ------------------ "You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star.".,*`~.+,*~`. ~ Friedrich Nietzsche IP: Logged |
