I don't know if you have this commercial up there in Canada, but there is a commercial for Charmin toilet paper, where it depicts (in cartoon) bears in the woods wiping with toilet paper. Not only are they wiping their butts, but they are shown from behind, doing a dance with the toilet paper, wipinhg it side to side against their bottoms! (like you would dry your back after a shower!)

Ohhhh, they have it over the pond too? If you look beyond the cartoon asspect of it, it's really a sick commercial! I mean, if you really wiped your butt like that, there would be do do all over you! I know, I'm being cynical. But there is something disturbing about a large coorperation televising the answer to an enduring question that has kept man thinking for years, just to sell a product! I used Charmin, and It did NOT make me dance like that! They are also wasting precious resources by using too many sheets! AND, right in front of the trees! My mother would have a fit! A whole roll in one day! Why even when there was eight kids, a cousin, and two parents in the house, we didn't use a whole roll! We made it last a week! Only 1 ply too!IP: Logged |
