A long time ago, after graduation, I designed this cd cover. After I got the CD cover back, I realized it was vulgar! E Gads! IP: Logged |

Uhhh.....think you could design them a new sign? This is quite possibly the worst sign I've ever seen. It hurts to look at it. IP: Logged |

I only know they paid $500.00 for the cover. Unfortunatly, I had so many CD's to design at the time, I didn;t keep track of the lyrics! I only listened to them after I got the album! God!IP: Logged |

Well, All I can remember about that era was the man sitting out front of the building cooking coke on a teaspoon! I asked, "what's he diong?" Someone responded, he's snorting coke! Oh, I see said the stupid one! I saw no hair, nor band. I was only a pawn in design of a smutty album cover...IP: Logged |

I didn't know the band members. However, I did know, and didn't care about the band members of Cinderella. They hung out at the stables I worked at in Phila. The mother of one of the band members drove horse and carriage with me. Bon Jovi was also one of the people I hung with at the stables, although I didn't reallly care at the time. He was the one who introduced Cinderella to the music world. Success! No, I have little recolection of Bon Jovi, nor the Cinderella band, I didn't care.IP: Logged |

Wow Philbird, can I have your autograph? Youve had quite the life! When ever I hear the name BonJovi, I am reminded of my sixth grade science teacher. She was obsessed with him and had a poster hung up of him on the door to the class room. IP: Logged |

Really, they would hang and played crappy music while we cleaned crappy stalls! Ahh, and my horse was called Hudson Bay. He held his **** until he collapsed on 5th street. Some horses, especially race horses won't pee on cement! It's funny now, but after he fell, carriage and all, to relieve himself on fifth street, Phila. I thought all was lost. The poor little race horse that couldn't...was sold as a carriage puller. I loved him. But after he spooked in front of three news broadcasting stations, jacknifed his carriage, and sent 8 passangers to the hospital, his short career was ended. (so was mine) Luckly, he was sold to a stud farm, where he procreated. I'm glad, he was a nice horse. Hope Hudson Bay is in good health.IP: Logged |

Wow Philbird, So, are you still into the equine? Horses are my passion, although, I have'nt been riding since I was 17. I had never heard that race horses had that, strange, little issue. 'Course then, I can understand why, I guess. I had an Uncle that was into the race scene, I believe he was a groom but, I'm not positive. Wish I would have had the chance to know him. Your Hudson Bay, he was'nt a Thouroghbred, was he? I've never seen one pulling carriage, I guess. They are pretty hot. Back in the day, my friend was introduced to one and, he was then added to the family. He did'nt, quite, make the cut, to race. He was her first horse and, even though he appeared to be very laid back, when he flipped his lid, he became a complete basket case! Remont Pat, I think, was his registered name. I only knew him as Bobby or, Bobby Sox. She kept him at my place up until about 5 years ago, when he developed glaucoma and, my friend made the hardest decision ever and, put him down. He was a sweetheart and, lived out the better part of his 32 years, loved dearly. Anyway so, you don't recall any other album designs, that you did? I always thought that cover fit the lyrics well. Was'nt the video for the song done in that theme; drive in? I'm so far away, from that time. I barely lived in it then! God! I know I'm not that old though! Hhmm,... time... Seems like a pretty sweet career. Are you still in design? ~ geminstoneIP: Logged |

Oh Philly, I wouldn't call that CD cover vulgar, just suggestive in that 'young horny guy' kind of way. You did a nice job; I remember that CD, though I wasn't really into hair bands (all style, no substance).I'm sure hairspray manufactureres miss those bands and the hairstyles they inspired. Blessings for your horse. IP: Logged |

I love horses as well. A good part of my life so far has ben working with horses. I worked at a Polo club, taught riding at various camps, worked as a hot walker and groom at Philadelphia Race track, Drove horse and carriage and had horses of my own. Hudson Bay was a thoroughbred. He injured himself during a race, actually, he was the smallest thorooughbred I ever saw. Most of the horses I worked with at the track had that killer instinct. But there were only a few that were virtually untouchable. God, they were georgous animals! I wasn't into the music scene...at all. Most of the covers I did were for rap bands. I would have to dig out my portfolio and look at what groups I did. Mostly guys on crack thinking they could make it as musicians.
