Hubby and I were on the way to a Dr. appointment this morning. As we pulled out of our parking spot, we noticed a woman kinda poking around the flower beds in front of the apt. complex. She said "Hi" and we went on our way. Hubby noticed she turned around and started in the direction she came from, but didn't think anything of it. When we got home we noticed she had ripped out about 75 plants we planted last year! We are shocked someone would do this! Just ripped them from the ground!!! Normally I'm a very forgiving woman, but when people maliciuosly destroy nature, or hurt animals, I get ticked! Now, am I supposed to live today as though it were my last day??? What do you do when stuff like that comes up? AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGG!!!!! IP: Logged |

That's weird. I'd be ticked too.But how do you know that she was the one who did it . . . ? Don't want to blame the wrong people . . . ------------------ Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none. - William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616) IP: Logged |

Well we actually saw her picking something in the flower bed as we left. When we came back I went to see what she had been picking at. The area I checked was the area we saw her picking, and there were flowers pulled from the plants. Not is it inhumane, it was also destruction of private property. We wanted to bring beauty to an area that before was just dry dirt. I mean what was she thinking. She didn't even steal them. That I could have understood! At least if she were going to plant them in her yard, they wouldn't have died!IP: Logged |

So you don't know the woman, she doesn't live in your building?I'm guessing that she may be mentally challenged, for lack of a better term. It's highly peculiar to uproot the plants for no other purpose, and that sort of behavior may be due to a mental imbalance of some sort. IP: Logged |
