It's snowing, a lot, in PA today, and luckily I have nowhere I have to go or be. They say we might get more than ten inches of the white stuff. And it's a very cold day, about ten degrees F, so the snow is powdery and blowing about. So it's a lazy day for me. I didn't even make my bed! I did shower, ate some junk food, read a bit and will do some more, and I'll probably be roaming around the internet. Comfort food later, mashed potatoes and saurkraut. MmmMmmmMmm. The only real decision I'll have to make later on is: do I want a glass of wine or a martini? Stay warm today Lovelies. IP: Logged |

HEY!! ME TOOOOOOO!! I went to work this morning ( after going out last night... eek...) But by the time noon rolled around, they had closed down major roadways, cancelled everything cancellable, and I was told I could go home early. So here I am. We had plans to see friends we rarely see, for a family game night and some homemade chili. Sounds tame, but I am craving tame. I hope we can still trudge through the snow.. ( IT IS INSANE OUT THERE! ) but I doubt it. So, here I am, at my favourite place... neat that weather patterns are similar in such geographically separate locations...IP: Logged |

I live out in the middle of nowhere, so it's me and the cats and the DVDs. My dinner is cooking and smells soooo good. IP: Logged |

btw, VTT, about having both wine and a martini...isn't that asking for a hangover? Maybe I'll have a 'tini cocktail, and later have the wine. Sheesh. I sound like a lush. IP: Logged |

Hi my fellow snow bunnies. It's really coming down here! I'm using the day to do some watercolor painting. Did a tarot reading for myself a little while ago - it confused me even more. lol Now, I'm off to take a shower. Save me a slice of that cake prox! I'd go with the wine trill. But hey, why not have both? That's what this Taurean would do. Stay warm lovlies. IP: Logged |

Hey, hey, hey - a little symp'ty hea - I've got a sick kiddo.Well, she was sick. She seems much better now after a 4 hour nap...and perhaps not too pleased that I decided to get her post-sleep hair: And, besides, here's the cake It's a banana rum layer cake with chopped pecans mixed in and crumbled both in between the layers and on top of the icing...which, I found out, it supposed to be spiked. It's homemade vanilla/banana rum *passes out plates, forks, and napkins* ENJOY! IP: Logged |

They say the same thing about New England... and it's usually true in spring/summer/fall... but winter? HAAA!! No such luck... snow, cold, freezing, ice... pretty much a constant.Yuck. At least I don't have to work, I don't even want to go outside! I think I'll watch the Pats game later and eat junk food and drink spiked hot chocolate! IP: Logged |
