I can see you and I actually put you on my list but it seems you are offline and in order for you to get to me, you have to be online. Do you see the little flower icon with LITE on it?

Yes, generally, you do have to have the other person on your list. But I sent you a message and I see you as if you are offline. You need to accept me to your list, authorize me in a sence since I've already sent you a message.
