Wheee I'm good! I think I have a new job, 2 local friendships (actual GOOD ones) are starting to solidify, and I'm over here listening to a band interview on a local radio station and confusing myself with a synastry chart (first time evaaar!). How are YOU?  IP: Logged |

26t - I've been lurking more than posting, though still not lurking all that much. I've been busier than before and've not had time to connect with all the new people here (or really stay connected to most of the older posters), so I really don't feel compelled to respond to most of what's said.
Eh *shrugs*I've been doing okie dokie. We're still kinda up in the air about what's going to happen w/ Jase (re: his job in the Army), but we're still here. Yup, Meg is getting big - she'll be a year old this Earth Day (perfect birthday for a Bull). Try the first clip again; I fixed the link. virgott - That's *great* that you've gotten two good, local friendships. They can't be beat.
I've been doing fine, if kinda sad b/c one of the better friends that I've met down here'll shortly be moving to Germany...ah, well.
She and her husband've assured us that we'll have a place to stay if we ever make it across the pond for a visit pixelp - Ah, you got the good link, groovey.

Hey prox, I know what you mean. I feel that way too sometimes. Mercury is retrograde too, so that might have something to do with it. Your thoughts and communications have become more 'internal' perhaps. A natural Merc. Rx kind of thing. Good to hear youve been busy. Wow! A year old already! Time is really flying by. They grow up so fast.......Hehe! Earth Day - perfect day for a Bull's birthday. That stinks that your friend is moving.  Who knows? Maybe one day you will make it over there to visit. P.S. - And, yup, it is beautiful down here today, about 80.

LOL- yep, college (and don't feel horrible for not knowing that, cause there's no reason to... sometimes I'm not too sure myself, haha! ) Financial Econ is my major... how boring! hehe.
Aww, that is still a cute pic, even if she does look a tad grumpy. A little ball of sunshine all by herself!

It goes through periods.I've been here...wow, for a while now...sometimes more active than others. (Right now I'm busy raisin' babies, gardening, and reading way too many interesting things so I haven't posted much.) It is a really nice place full of seekers, searchers, well-wishers, do-gooders, and silly nymphs. I have yet to see any serious poster who's been wholly bad; even those who have their outbursts or black periods have something constructive to add at some point, and most are really quite well-intentioned. So, fayte.m, how'd you land upon your screen name?
Perhaps something to do with the Fates or "Fate" itself, but the spelling implies something else...
I could showcase my geek roots and say that it reminds me of something from an RPG, but given that they often draw from historical/philosophical/mythical sources (and looking at your profile) I'll grant that it may very well come from something more profound than a video game. I hope that your days're going fantabulously and/or that your gleaning interesting lessons from them. Do tell.
At the very least your name intrigues. As for me...my beau's gone TDY for a bit, my babe's asleep, and the house is reasonably in order (the dustbunnies are not yet unionizing), so I'm going to go eat apple crisp and either watch I <3 Huckabees or play around on my poor, neglected PS2. IP: Logged |
