VTT, you absolutely can't be going away, or I will feel forever guilty for not posting enough of late. (shameless, aren't I?)From reading other threads of yours, I can see that some of that other frustration must be spilling over here....No wonder, what an agonizing situation to live through!! I for one don't care how cranky anyone gets (long as I can too!!!  ) This is where we get to be ourselves, warts and all. I love you all the more for sharing that side of yourself... the masks we have to wear every day are constrictive enough.......... Please all of you try to remember that this forum is much like TV, if you find something offensive, change the channel... plenty other happy and interesting threads to go to!!! And just to pile it on VTT, look at this thread and all the people that  you!! Please all you disgruntled, don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.... there is too much good energy here to ignore! If you leave, you're taking away some of the best part of it. Like Joni Mitchell said on a PBS show about her I saw recently (anybody else see that? Awesome!) "The greater the light, the darker the shadows it attracts" (or something to that affect) We have to accept the fact of that polarity... In all its manifestations. I for one do not want to have to walk on eggshells in my posts so as to not step on anyone's toes! Come on, we're all tougher than that! I really was talking to everyone in general, Including VTT, when we get our hackles up over something that gets said. She is special to me, and she could get attention from me no matter what she posted. I think my friend is frustrated and needs us as friends more than ever 'when someone needs love the most, they are the hardest to love' My emotional skin is tough enough to take whatever gets dished out, and if it gets irritating, I just move on to happier threads! I don’t like to defend people…VTT is an adult and can speak for herself, but since the question wasn’t directed at her…I want to make this very clear. Just because I like someone, it does not mean I’ll turn a blind eye to anything negative they do. If they did something wrong…then they must be punished

I have never seen VTT like this. In fact, I would have betted my life that someone else knew her password and went wild. I don’t want to believe it was her…but I guess I have to be realistic. I think many are concerned as to why someone so level-headed as VTT would act like this. This is not like her. However, I guess people get angry sometimes - and she’s young…so you can’t expect her to be all sage like, not yet anyway From what I’ve seen, she’s never been like this EVER. Also, when I visited LL yesterday, I came here first. So I was clueless as to what happened in astrology - in my early posts anyway. What she said to BR and especially aries-chick, was not right. However, like aries-chick said, BR’s thread must have triggered something. It hit a nerve and she felt pain for some reason…she got upset, and ended up hurting two other people. I guess pain spreads. I’m not giving her leeway Aen, I’m more concerned as to why she would do this. Perhaps her Taurean patience got pushed to the limit - if that makes any sense. I want to go on…but I think I should stop. I can understand your reaction Aen, it makes sense - but…

I don't know VTT, but I have to agree with Aen. Her behavior in the Astrology forum was out of line. Her edited profile is childish and immature. She may be a lovely person most of the time but in these instances, she bears much of the responsibility for turning things extremely ugly. Had I been the Mod in that Forum, I would have been extrememly displeased and taken action as quickly as I had seen those posts. While I love a heated academic exchange, I don't care for the personal attacks she lobbied. Let's be real. They were vitriolic, immature and ugly. I wish her well, and I wish her wisdom. IP: Logged |
