VTT-please step away for a bit, but come back. There appears much more going on with you than just this place. It seems that you are angry, hurt, confused and are toting around a big 'ol bundle of mixed emotions while taking a ride on that Emotional Rollar Coaster of life. From what I've seen of you, you are totaly acting out of character for you. Does that make sense? Please schweetie, take a deep breath, but don't go.

Instead, just please *let it go*. Tomorrow will be a new day.(gag, I know, lol) but seriously, whatever you are going through will get better soon, you seem to be dealing with a lot. I know it is easy for me to say, sitting over here, I'm not wearing your shoes......but I've been there and its not easy and this probably isn't what you want to hear either, sorry. (((hugs)))

I disagree with the things you said on the other thread both about me and BR.

However, whatever it is that prompted you to leave, which as I understand it, happened before the whole BR thing and involves a number of ppl (and the BR thing + me trigerred it and pushed you over the edge).. whatever it is, I understand that it hurt you, and like I said above while I don't agree with what you think about BR I can understand THAT from your point of view as well. You find his remarks hurtful and there are other ppl who would agree. And that's fine. If you don't like someone you don't have to talk to them, that includes myself.

I feel bad about the things said on the other thread, because in a lot of your other posts you seem normal/nice/intelligent.. Maybe what I said in the first place was too harsh and triggered it, I don't see it as that, but again from your point of view, we're obviously very different ppl - so I can understand that it bothered you..

I am genuinely sorry if I triggered your departure.. I never intended that. I expressed an opinion on something, that I didn't realy see as defending BR at all since I clearly said I DO not agree with him, he simply doesn't bother me (which are two different things) since every1's entitled to have their say. But even if I would've defended him I don't see why it affected you to the extent it did.

In any event I am sorry it did affect you and I really hope you change your mind and come bk

I'm sure you have a lot of friends on these boards. There's no need to talk to ppl you dislike or whose words hurt you, or that have any kind of negative impact on you..

One swear word now and again is neither here nor there. But when it degenerates into sustained abuse, that is NOT acceptable. And once one person starts, it seems to act as a trigger for other people.

This may "only" be the internet, and we have a degree of guaranteed anonymity - up to a point. But we are still accountable, and responsible, for everything we write.

I don't want to sound too hoity-toitily moral here, but what's with the "no profanity or personal insults" request on Lindaland's Welcome Page?
