Yes....so far the best has been Taurus..But a Capricorn that pursued me pulled out all the stops. He also had a ton of money, so he tried to buy me with expensive dinners, wine and gifts..which doesn't quite work on a Saggie.. The Taurus was determined, effective and romantic. He spent a day buying cards and trinkets to remind me of our first dates...then he went over the cards and explained why he bought the candy test tubes (because I am a science geek) and Wolverine (because I had mentioned that when I was a kid I had a crush on that X-man)..etc..
He wrote me poems (and still says these most remarkable things...). We have been through a couple of serious bumps, but I admire his stability -his way of being able to smooth out my high-strung tendancies (and those tendancies also help to keep him from being a couch potato..LOL) Yesterday we had a discussion about "wanting or needing" a person. He said "We can survive without each other...I don't need you" I almost exploded..but he said "Calm down..listen.. I don't want to be needed, we need air to breathe- even if we don't like it.. But I want you and I want to be wanted..that means we have "chosen" to be with eachother..and that means more that just "needing" each other". I can't fight him on that because I feel the same way, but I use the word "Obligated" I never want to feel obligated to take care of someone or that someone is obligated to be with me...but they should "want" to be with me. To this day he does these special things for me..cooking me dinner - making coffee for me when I least expect it... He tells his friends how much I spoil him (so even though a woman doesn't necessarily woe her man, she does so in a way). I find out the things he likes and I make sure he has them..from his favorite foods to the his favorite scents.. But yes, Taurus has been the most romantic... He even called my mom to introduce himself to her and tell her how smitten he was with me. When I flew out to Phoenix (we had only been together a few months) he met me there..and we had this beautiful room at the Wigwam resort. Since he got there before me, he had wine, flowers and this great smelling pina colada candle set out. He had found a cute tank top for me and laid it out on the bed...I had never had someone pay that much attention to my likes and dislikes...nor that could buy clothes for me. The Virgo was the most service oriented (in that I mean, he courted me by doing things that would make my life easier and that appealed to my brain). The Leo was okay but CHEAP!!! The Libra was semi-romantic, but too pushy- to eager- yet he tried and he wrote me poetry as well... The Sag took me to interesting places, hikes, dinners in the mountains and gave me one red rose when we talked for the first time in front of the library. The Pisces was quiet, yet passionate- he defended my honor and wrote my name on the wall at our neighborhood college bar (we were allowed to write on it). The Gemini said all the right words, then turned into a scary monster!! I was also courted by an extremely romantic and emotional cancer. He was so sweet, sent me candy, "Sweet Home Alabama - because he was from Mississippi nearer to Alabama" and flowers. He called me all the time, just to tell me about his day and told his family about me. He just ended up being too needy.... An Aquarian charmed me with dinners, dancing and diamonds..but he was too old and too possesive (weird for an Aqua huh?)
I haven't been courted by an Aries and Scorps and I just tend to be friends instead of anything more...almost like we have an understanding LOL.... By the way..a note here...even though the men gave nice gifts, I always gave the jewerely back- it just didn't seem right to take it when I knew that I wasn't interested in anything long term OR if I felt they were trying to buy me

Damn, give me that Taurus' phone number if you two don't work out I completely understand that wanting/needing thing, although, I won't lie, to me I think it's sort of nice to be a little needed, it gives the relationship more intensity which is what I like. But, then again, neediness will drive me away, but, only if the excitement of the relationship has dwindled which has happened to me in every single relationship I've ever had, I think I'm really into the guy, and it turns out I was into him for the moment. Is there ever a time that you can be with someone and the excitement lasts forever? At my old job, I would get some elderly patients that would be coming in for surgery, when I registered them they would come into my office with their spouse and they'd be all cutsie and joking around, doing the little smart alec banter back and forth, somehow how many years they've been married would come up (usually between 40-50 something years) and when I'd finish up with the registration they'd leave the office holding hands. I always asked them "do you know how lucky you guys are to have what you guys have?" and they'd go "just wait, you'll find the one in due time." Sigh . . . How do you know if you're in love? It's really pathetic that I'm almost 25 and still have yet to experience that. Maybe I'm afraid of it. Maybe I feel like I'm not good enough. I'm doing this "pushing away thing" with the Cancer and I wonder why I'm doing that. I mean, he's all I think about but I'm scared of that, I don't wanna be weak, you know? Why the hell am I babbling about this on a sex thread? I need some Scotch. Oh yeah, ps, Not all Leo's are cheap IP: Logged |

This is hilarious!! When I clicked on the topic, I said to myself, "definitely not Taurus!" Then when I saw marcia's first post, she said Taurus!! I just think it's funny because I'm a Taurus and I *NEVER* WWoooooHHHoooooo!!! (although I love the WooHoo song, who sings it and what are the words, does anyone know????) Anyhow, I prefer to shout out, "YES!" Wouldn't you guys think it would be more of an Air or Fire sign to WooHoo? IP: Logged |

That Scorpio moon sure is doing a number on everyone - so many posts abt "wooHooing" everywhere!I just posted this in Astrology but I liked it so much, I was so proud of my Mercury Trining my Jupiter today, that I thought I'll post it here too!! "I think Scorpios are definitely the sexiest. I am not trying to generalise here but mostly anyone who has a strong Scorpionic influence in their charts exude a kind of charisma. Its not even that I find them very overtly sexual but more the fact that for Scorpios, sex is sacred - they hold it in high regard and consider it a mystery only second to death. I love it when I see a Pluto born dissecting the mysteries of physical love and trying to understand the hold it has on them. I like the reverrance with which they treat it. That kinda makes it all the more alluring when they get passionate and are totally controlled by their volcanic physical intensity. Scorpios are perhaps the strongest of all signs - their self control, iron will power and sheer force of their character and integrity is humbling and yet when they are at the mercy of their passions, their surrender is perhaps the most endearing. It gives them a kind of innocence, a quiet acceptance of how nature made them and how they submit to their instincts and that submission absolves them and sets them free. No wonder Scorpio is symbolised by death - its like everytime they make love - they die at the altar of their own self and sacrifice their egoes to experience the rebirth of love and innocent faith inside." "She stretched herself up on tiptoe, and peeped over the edge of the mushroom, and her eyes immediately met those of a large caterpillar, that was sitting on the top with its arms folded, quietly smoking a long hookah, and taking not the smallest notice of her or of anything else. The Caterpillar and Alice looked at each other for some time in silence: at last the Caterpillar took the hookah out of its mouth, and addressed her in a languid, sleepy voice. `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' `What do you mean by that?' said the Caterpillar sternly. `Explain yourself!' `I can't explain myself, I'm afraid, sir' said Alice, `because I'm not myself, you see.' `I don't see,' said the Caterpillar. `I'm afraid I can't put it more clearly,' Alice replied very politely, `for I can't understand it myself to begin with; and being so many different sizes in a day is very confusing.' `It isn't,' said the Caterpillar. `Well, perhaps you haven't found it so yet,' said Alice; `but when you have to turn into a chrysalis--you will some day, you know--and then after that into a butterfly, I should think you'll feel it a little queer, won't you?' `Not a bit,' said the Caterpillar.
