Hi. I need a subject for my next essay, which will be on argumentation. I need to pick a controversial topic. I can't think of one. Can you guys help me out? Pretty please? The topic can't be about abortion, death penalty, gun control, cell phones. It is supposed to be something current and controversial. Thank you all in advance! IP: Logged |

Legislation allowing states to give the desicion of giving birth control prescriptions to pharmacists who may decide not to based on moral/religious/personal beliefs. Wow. I can rephrase that: Pharmacists being allowed to decide whether or not to fill birth control prescriptions based on their beliefs/morals. I just signed a petition at Earth Day against this for my state. (We don't have these laws--yet--but at least four states have enacted legislation.) Christianity is based on skewed history and redaction. There is much to indicate the resurrection was a story to further Saul/Paul's ego tripping career. http://www.tombofjesus.com/ There is much about Jesus/Yeshua living to 102 years old in Kashmir.IP: Logged |

Everytime I see this post, I see the word "Augmentation" instead of "Argumentation"My answer was breasts, of course.. but that can't be right.. how does one argue about breasts? (I am pro-breasts by the way!) IP: Logged |

Dear Everyone ~ Funny, I just came online to do some research and work on my topic, and I got 4 e-mail notif.'s regarding this topic!! Thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions. So I shall now announce my thesis!!!! Ready? My Thesis: Marine mammals should not be held captive by theme parks. Here are my topic sentances: TS1: The quality of life of marine mammals that are held captive by theme parks is severely reduced. TS2: Dolphins and whales should not be forced to perform for human entertainment in theme parks. TS3: Dolphins should not be forced to be in public petting pools for human entertainment. TS4: (Refutation) Theme parks assert that captive held marine mammals have a high quality of life. Still working on main conclusion sentance. Now I've got to fill in all the paragraphs!! Sincerely, ~N. (~J) IP: Logged |

Dear Everyone,Well I finalized my essay and turned it in yesterday. Now we have another one. Same style: argumentation, can't do your own opinions, must be all research like the previous one. If anyone has any more ideas for subjects, please let me know. I was going to do GMO's, but it's just way too big of a subject. I want something basic and easy, as I spent 15 hours on my last one. thanks. IP: Logged |
