Hehe, I'm headed off to Orlando to be an Merchandise intern for Walt Disney World.....for a whopping 7 months.I'm really excited, and hey, if anyone will be down that way from late May to early January, let me know...  It'll be a big change from that Mid-West climate and food... but I'm sure I'll adjust  IP: Logged |

Philbird, well, I mighta at one time mentioned I had interviewed for Disney, or I might have said I always wanted to draw cartoons for Disney, cause both of those are true...either way, I'm thrilled to be going  Noreenz,
Yep, I'm 19.5 years old...and this job already has me flying, even before I get there, LOL. My mother is apprehensive, quite a bit, as I've never been this far away for soo, soo long, at most before this, was 2 months, and that was hard on her. Thanks for the well-wishes... ------------------

Well, an early welcome to Florida to you  . I'm not too much of a fan of amusment parks, but either way, that's probably going to be a very exciting job. Congrats.I heard someone say the other day that by 2011 Florida's going to have 9 million more residents than New York. IP: Logged |

I KNOW. It's the worst. People have no idea how horrible humidity can be- it's like living in a swamp. Humidity was way up there last week, and I spent my time outside looking like Einstein.IP: Logged |
