So today i got hopefully my first and last taste of this mars/uranus conunction...Two weeks ago during a midterm examination, the 2 girls sitting behind me were whispering answers back and forth, which was, as you can imagine, mildly distracting. I turned around and looked at them, but they didn't stop, so I moved to the front of the class. When one of them handed in her test I shot a look at her and shook my head. 2 weeks passed. Today as I strolled into lecture i hear her saying "and he was eating chips in class, so rude" I sat down and turned to look at her, knowing full well she was talking about me. She said: "yeah thats right i'm talking about you, don't eat chips in lecture its really rude." To which i replied, "maybe you should keep your eyes on your own paper." She retorted, "maybe you should mind your own business." After this I disengaged and turned around. This was quite a spectacle being in a quiet room full of about 100 students. I actually felt sorry for her, because she seemed utterly consumed by anger. Her energy was very dark and low. I apologized to her after class, but she told me to mind my own business and wouldnt' stop to talk to me. She looked like she wanted to kill me. Anyway, talk about out of the blue and angry, wow! What a day! How would you guys have reacted? I figured I was doing the right thing by not telling the professor on her, but I guess that woudl have been more effective. I don't believe in snitching though. I guess I can blame my morally righteous sadge sun for this, but I just don't liek conflict like this it affects me for hours afterwards. IP: Logged |

That's right. And if she doesnt, you do. That is what matters. Dont fuel the fire. Walk away in peace and leave her to deal with her own 'stuff'. It's not worth allowing it to affect you negatively. You have bigger and better things to do. IP: Logged |

Aphrodite are you saying you think shes an aries sun?I'm pretty sure shes an aquarius or other air sign....shes actually quite beautiful, she looks like she could be a gypsy, or greek....very long straight black hair, big dark eyes, typical south east european beauty IP: Logged |

If she bothered you with her talking (while cheating) you could have told her. But I believe you are not the judge of her cheating or not.
Also, where I come from it is quite disrespectful to eat in class. However I have noticed it is different here.

I like the opposite responses from Yin and Yang, how symoblic....Yang: No I won't be getting her back , I wish her the best. Yin: It's normal to eat in class, professors and students alike do it, perhaps shes from somewhere else where it is offensive. I think its anyones business if someone in their class is cheating. Why? Because classes are graded on a curve, and cheaters make the curve higher. It's not fair to people who aren't cheating. IP: Logged |

Ah, no. I was giving a probable reaction of myself had that happened to me. I'm the Aries Sun. It would have made me really angry to hear someone talk like that behind my back and not tell me first that it bothered them. Boundaries are a strange thing. Why rally bad talk behind someone's back over a bag of potato chips? That is messed up and sometimes I don't always let the more diplomatic side come out. The part that wants to set things straight with an equal bite emerges and makes itself known. Not a great example of myself, I know. IP: Logged |
