I know several people who didn't like it, but I thought it was the best one out of the series. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. I thought it was AWESOME! And extremely sad. I cried at the end, and I never cry at the theater, no matter how badly I might want to (it's a Scorpio thang I guess LOL). But I won't say anymore...though we all know what happens in the end, there are some bits and pieces that are suprising, and I don't want to spoil it for ya IP: Logged |

We get to see each of Anakin's choices as he makes them (and that we each would have possibly done given the same circumstances). We get to understand his thought processes. Anakin really thought he was doing good--clouded by deception and manipulation until he fell so far and so deep that the Dark Side took over. And it was all because of Love. We get to see why it is forbidden for a Jedi to fall in Love and marry. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. I've never been a huge Star Wars fan... actually, I've always loved to hate SW. But my boyfriend got me a ticket a month ago, so I decided to go, and before I did, I watched the previous ones. After this one, I'm a (closet) fan! Oh, who am I kidding! It was AWESOME! (Back in the closet I go.) *What was funny is we went to the first midnight showing and I stayed at his house after the show. The next morning we woke up and I asked him if he dreamed about Star Wars all night-- I knew he did! Because so did I... IP: Logged |

I saw it Wednesday. Sunday I'm taking my niece and nephew with me. I loved this one, because the stage is set by all the previous ones, so there is no long 'slow' parts in the movie. So neat to see everything tie together.I feel so sorry for Anakin. He did what he thought was right...but clouded by deception he didn't. We see why Yoda was against training him, and later his son. "Wreckless and impatient" as Yoda put it. Obi-Wan was always my favorite. He's always so collected and calm, except when paired up with Anakin! Anyways, I'm looking forward to watching with my niece and nephew. I took them to Episode I when they were very young, and I'm taking for this one. I get so much enjoyment taking them, and then afterward seeing their faces beaming, and talking about it driving home. IP: Logged |

Hey Future Uncertain,We ran into the Force in a similar way lol. Until last week, I had never seen Star Wars. I remember my dad watching it when I was little, and all I remember was a Gold Robot. My boyfriend grew up in a house full of SW lovers, and was pleading with me to go see Episode III in the theaters. I agreed since going to the movies is our favorite past time, but not until I watched ALL the previous SW (I didn't want to be clueless in the theater). To my surprise, I LOVED SW. I watched all of the movies in 3 days lol. Now, I'm dying to see why Anakin was led to the dark side and what happened to the Queen. IP: Logged |

Hey guys, I finally saw it last night, and oh lord it effected me so much. Not even Titanic had such an emotinal grasp on me.... I know its just a movie, but I totally got into the characters of Anakin & Panme. You know its going to end bad, but I still felt bad for them. I would've felt better if in ROTJ, we would of seen Panme's spirit next to Anakin's. Thats what bugs me the most, not knowing if they are together at last.

I loved it! The best of the new ones by far!Episode I was hokey, and I'd have completely rewritten Episode II myself, but this episode was awesome! Go see it! I watched all of the old movies last night. They're so great. IP: Logged |

I took my son to see it last Saturday. Can't wait for the DVD!! I think I was more into it than he was.I have always loved the truly spiritual/philisophical tone of the Star Wars saga. George Lucas is an amazing story maker (his story telling could use a little bit of work, though). It is such a lesson in human emotion and ineptitude. After seeing Episodes I and II there was a part of me that thought Lucas should have left it alone. But Episode III ties everything together so beautifully. Anakin as the dark side of love - jealousy, control, despair, hate. But even from that the beautiful aspects of love can spring - loyalty, honor, grace, acceptance - Luke and Leia. And that love can redeem all, no matter the circumstances. I really don't want to know how many years I am going to have to wait for the DVD box set of all six episodes, director's cut. I'll probably bo old and gray and not remember why I loved Star Wars so much. LLL IP: Logged |
