I was browsing, one of those late night prowls and I came across this link. The people in the photographs look very familiar, in fact my paternal grandmother could've been one of them! I have discovred,after years of digging, that her mother was a gypsy from Pakistani Punjab and I know for a fact that she had a cousin who ran away from home and was something of a brigand.

Could this explain my psychic powers, and other gifts I have discovered over the years? If it does, it would be a fascinating subject to study, as the more I learn abt these magickal people, the more it rings true with my story and that of my ancestorage.

Hi Maya, I found out recently from a friend of my partner (who is a gypsy) that my family were romany gypsies (they call em knackers here ha ha). It made sense to me, even the way I dress, and my temperament is gypsy like - a free spirit if you like. Like you I am interested in the psychic stuff and have always been fascinated by it since I was a child. I can imagine being chased around a camp fire by a raven haired, swarthy skined gypsy man, oops getting carried away again girl (LOL). Its good to know where we are from isnt it and good luck with your studies xxx

p.s. my music teacher recommended me to listen to an Irish singer called Delores Keane, I recently learned one of her songs. When I met a friend who knew of her she said "oh shes an Irish gypsy"!!! He obviously could see the blood a mile off!!

I know it for a fact that my grandma knows magic, people in the family have seen her perform amazing spells and make people do her will with uncanny knack!

I have seen pictures of her youth ... raven hair, olive skin accentuated by high cheekbones, fierce, hypnotic gaze ... she is amazingly powerful and definitely has exotic blood.

My ancestry dates back to NW Pakistan, and yes, I am aware that not all of them are conjurers, but nothing else explains the miraculous things that have been happening to me all my life ... I thought it was pretty commonplace, but now I have discovered that a lot of the gifts that I took for granted are actually shared with a lot of odd ones hanging from my family tree and are not as common as I thought.
