AS I am getting older, I just have no patience anymore. I have no patience with people mainly. It's getting worse. Does anyone else have this issue? It's really hard.  I am mainly referring to people in my life, not really towards strangers. IP: Logged |

I feel the same way Nephthys. Sometimes it's good for the mind, body and soul to let out some of your frustrations! I did that last night, and man it felt gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!!!!
or just invest in a nice punching bag.

Solane StarI've been far too kind for too long to people who don't deserve my kindness. So yesterday I more than voiced my feelings and thoughts about the way these certain people (my sister, and my ex best friend as well), who've been trying to play mind and power games with me, have been acting towards/around me. Well I yelled some, I cursed some, and I confronted much. Sometimes a little nice chat won't do anything. God knows I've tried. My philosophy, not saying it's good and works for everyone, is that sometimes you have to shake people up!! I can't stand small minded people, one of my biggest pet peeves!

Nephthys, I've noticed the same exact thing with me lately! I used to be fiesty when I was younger...I cooled off a bit for 3 years after high school...now I notice as I get older I just have no patience with people, and it seems to progressively be getting worse. With me I think it's because I've grown out of bullcrap with them, sort of what DayDreamer was talking about! Also an Aquarian friend of mine mentioned he noticed I just simply move at a faster speed than life and most people do which is a big cause of my impatience. He thinks that if I find activities that'll be a huge outlet of energy, I may be more patient all around.  IP: Logged |

Hey, is it me, or are the majority of the people on this thread Taureans or almost Taureans? Whatever happened to predictability of astrological stereotypes  ?The irritation is mostly stemming from something inside, something is bothering you that you are trying to suppress, something big that you cannot put your finger on unless you think really hard ... take care of the root and the weed will be taken care of. Wow, post something on FFA and get a lot of responses! Like DayDreamer said, sometimes a nice little chat doesn't do anything. I get impatient and frustrated when people do things/do not do things that aren't common sense. I get impatient and frustrated when I tell/ask people something and they don't listen or don't act interested and then repeat the same thing I told/ask them not to do!!! One of my friends keeps breaking up/getting back together with the same loser boyfriend for 3 years now and I just refuse to hear her complaints anymore. Being a Taurus, I am supposed to have patience, but I don't. Perhaps it's my Fiery Aries Moon and Asc. which are pushing me ahead. IP: Logged |

We feel a strong sense of irritation with people we feel we have given our power over to. Take back your power. ( easy to say, hard to do) For me i need to learn to use my power. Sometimes i do naturally but many times i have to really work at it. It can be scarey to use our own power. And.. people who have had their power taken and abused by others will try to take yours.. Wow, great advice thirteen! Have to meditate on that some more.I'm another Taurus who has had absolutely no patience with people lately. It's gone. I work with people everyday and I just want to tell them exactly what is on my mind when they are rude. I thought Taureans were supposed to be patient. I used to be. Lately my fuse has been short and I have no time for rudeness anymore and find myself being rude right back sometimes. I just dont care. I've let too many people walk all over me for too long and I've gotten to the point where I've had enough. Can only be nice to rude people for so long before you snap. I need to get out of the food service industry. I just had some rude customers and had to vent. I guess theyre here to teach me something though!!! lol *uggh, shudders* I've really had it.  So, I hear you Nephthys, VTT & DD!!! :O! The only time I ALWAYS have patience is with animals and children. IP: Logged |

thirteen (i like your name) that's true! I do give some of my power away entrusting others with it, and hoping for them to use it wisely. I guess I get mad when they don't cooperate, and turn it back on me! After that I have a tendancy to give people a lesson, a taste of their own medicine. I still have to learn to feel comfortable with my own power, in a way that doesn't hurt or offend others, but allows me to be true to myself.
