Hi again everyone, I'll do a mini run through since I last spoke to you guys. The current job's OK for now. I'm temping at a classic car insurance brokers, whilst looking for that ideal job! The other job was technically a good position in a small marketing company, pleasing salary and all, but it didn't work out. One of the things my boss mentioned when we parted was that he's noticed I'd used the internet - (which I have to for research), but he wasn't happy I logged into LL - now we can't have that eh? Some of you may know I moved back to dad's at the beginning of this year following his split with my step mother, which was for the best.
Since I'm not living in London anymore ~ travelling and setting up meetings for my own projects are more difficult to arrange. Especially when family time / day job is a priority at the moment.
Being stretched in different directions. I'm still trying to work on a couple of other music / media projects. The current one is stemmed around unsigned talent for urban music, and as this things go, it's taking a while since we're all have full time jobs and family commitments as most people do. Luckily, a good friend of mine is a lawyer / music manager and has provided some excellent advice so far.
I'm happy to be near my two beloved ridgebacks again Mos & Jos. Mos still has an ear tumour but has had regular check ups and not had an operation as yet. They'd prefer not to at his age, being almost 11.
Thanks to you guys who wished well for my aunt in San Fran who has pancreatic cancer. Since I haven't been here for ages, I wasn't able to write a reply, but it is appreciated. She is continuing treatment and is as happy as can be at the moment. She has good support around her thankfully.
I'm still continuing to write when I can. Getting time aside to do so nowadays is rare - but some of you may remember I poem/song I wrote in Yellow wax, called T'he Fight'? My cousin (HoneyBee) who's studying music production at university, recently made it into a spoken word song with music. I was so flattered. I've not heard one of my poems in song before.
Something else I must take time to do is write things down! So many things have been happening within the last 2 years that are incredible once in a lifetime experiences and I haven't been recording them! Have any of you kept a diary since you were young? I kept one when I was about 10/11 but got lost at some point.
I guess LL is a form of a diary. Yep, this'll be precious in years to come when my future family will be reading it!
Must learn to be a disciplined writer like Trillian How's all that going by the way hun? Would you mail me on how I could get a copy please?
And the rest of you.. how's family and glitches and things? Noone heard from LS?
You know what, there are so many threads I want to read but have to go again. Haven't even popped into Lexigrams yet! I know you guys are doing a fab job, hope to pop in there soon.
I really must get back to it now, being trained as an underwriter, lucky me. See you soon
