I have no plans because if I leave the house, I may not be able to return today. The emergency people who stand their butts at the end of the roads can't communicate with each other and come to a decision about whether people who live up my road should be allowed back to their homes (I got through when they gave up yesterday). But I live near a tourist area that has fireworks every Thursday evening  IP: Logged |

Because the emergency people in the town I live in are morons. Yes, the flood, but my house/road is not even affected, and neither are the roads we have to travel on to get places. And it's not like our road is being heavily travelled by repair vehicles, it's been quiet all morning. Residents up here being p1ssed off at the severe imcompetence and slowness of the cleanup and apathy of any of the people helping up here because omg they have to WORK on the 4th of JULY is getting to the news.
