Hi Nephthys! I am doing pretty good! How are you doing? What's new? Yeah, I saw the computer requirements too and decided not to download it onto my work's desktop computer. The tool sounds so fascinating in both practical and explorative concepts. I was imagining that if I was lost, I could use the GPS on a cellphone to zero in on what the place looked like to find it faster. Especially if I am traveling in another city or out of the country. Have you been out to the city lately? Find any cool restaurants? On Saturday I am heading up to Novato for the first time for a BBQ. I think it will be the farthest up Marin County I've ever been. Ciao, Aphrodite

Hi Aphrodite ~ Right now I am at work at a temp job. I've been temping on and off this summer. Last week we went to the Marin County Fair and saw Huey Lewis and the News. It was GREAT! We had a lot of fun. Other than that I've just been swimming and taking my dog for walks and doing a lot of things around the house that I normally don't have time to do. Novato should be pretty warm this weekend - I hope you have fun. I lived in Novato for a long time but now I live in San Rafael. I haven't been to the City lately except at the beginning of June I went on the Bay with the Neptune Society to scatter my friends' mother's ashes. The only restaurant I've been to in quite awhile was Lydia's Lovin' Foods in Fairfax, which is a Vegan/Vegetarian/Raw restaurant. It was fantastic and I really want to go back. Proxieme ~ that sounds so cool - that's what I want to do, zoom in on our house/neighborhood! IP: Logged |

Google has a feature online that is similar to this called ... http://maps.google.com/ if you click the satellite button on the top right, you can then type in an address of your choice. This program looks a lil more detailed than the online version. im downloading it now to check it out!

Well I'm on my Mom's computer right now and the Google Earth thing says you need Broadband/Cable and we have DSL. It also seems to have a lot of requirements so I guess I can't download it. Ah well ........IP: Logged |
