I am sick sick sick of being told to go with the flow, conform, submit, blah blah blah.I won't be easily led and I'm proud of that. I won't break the law, although I have a little in the past... and I try not to hurt anyone. It really is hard to drum in good advice though. My mother says I have oppositional defiance disorder. Maybe I just have my own mind? And very proud of it. Pride isn't always a sin either  IP: Logged |

Rebellion rules - get worried if your kids dont do it thats what I say.Tell your mother from me you are not defiant, just strong minded and a well balanced individual, I like your style. Our six year old son is already saying stuff to me like "i really love you mum, but sometimes you embarass me etc etc" - yeah he is 6! I am delighted he has the strength of character to speak out for himself and that he feels safe enough to say it to me, his mum!!!! I know when I was small I had a fear of hurting my mother, so I used to agree with her and it almost killed me at times! I worry about kids who dont rebel at some stage,it is a healthy and normal process to go thro. I am still doing it and I am 46 LOL !!!!! No BB its not defiance, its STRENGTH - always BE YOURSELF, you are you ,not anyone else, no matter what anyone says, your mother, your father, the tinker, the tailor the candle stick maker.........JUST BE YOU..........and ENJOY. OH, Bluemoon David Bowie is my hero from way back!!! I so love him and his music!!! Seen him in concert in 79. The best concert I ever went too!!!
