Hi dear, how is your book coming along? I'm reading a book on publishing and have been thinking about you. Hope all is well. I'm going home this Sep for a month and my hubby will join me for a week there as well. I can hardly wait! Yin!!! How are you sweet lady? I am so thrilled you get to go home for a month, and I'll look forward to hearing about your travels. And how wonderful that hubby can go for a while, too, and meet your friends and family, and experience your homeland. It's so exciting! I've thought of you often, but shame on me for not writing. Are you seriously thinking of going into publishing someday, Yin? I know you've contemplated it. Or perhaps as an agent one day, after some publishing experience? The latest draft of the novel is going very well, after a few snafus and hold ups. I haven't queried any agents or publishers in a year, hoping to get this draft done. But I will begin the process again very, very soon. Wish me luck! Other than that, I'm planning a trip to NYC in September, just for the fun of it with some friends. Anyone gonna be in Manhattan Sept. 9-13? Please keep in touch, Yin. You're such a beautiful light.... ------------------ The less I seek my source for some definitive, the closer I am to fine. -Indigo Girls IP: Logged |

Trill, I can't wait to read your book! The book I'm reading on publishing now is quite discouraging when it comes to dealing with publishers and working for the business. Still reading though. I'm trying to find a full time job with benefits and after my promotion, things aren't looking that bad. They may hire me at a full time position after I come back from BG. Keeping my fingers crossed.Good luck with your book! I know you'll do a beautiful job. Take care and see you around

The book is a novel. Still have my email address, alchemiest? Drop me a line and maybe we can have a coffee or a beer. Actually, I don't drink coffee. ------------------ The less I seek my source for some definitive, the closer I am to fine. -Indigo Girls IP: Logged |

trillian@linda-goodman.com should work. I'll be on the upper west side, just a couple of blocks from Central Park and Filene's Basement. Yin, please keep in touch. I will be so eager to hear of your travels. And despite what any book might say about publishing being hard, don't be discouraged. "Where there is a will, there is a way."
