Because of the beautiful human that you are, I now believe that there are some decent men in this world, the first one of course being YOU.

You dont know this Mr Acoustic but I have been through a lot of healing since I joined LL, and some of it is because of you...I wont go into it.

So, everyone out there in LindaLand feel free to SHOUT out to our wonderful Cappy friend about how awesome he is...he totally deserves it.

I'm glad I was able to help even if I don't know how. You Scorps are the first people I run to when something's going on in my life. I guess it's good that I don't have any in real life -all the more for you beautiful scorps here in LL.

I'm really surprised by this, and really appreciative. I'm really glad you're here. I hope I can always be there to help when you need it.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I feel only mildly worthy, honestly. Maybe it's my Virgo Moon talking.

I really have to be humble, though. I know there are those who don't care for me here. I've been myself long enough to know I won't get along with everyone.

So today I was driving home from work, and I thought of the funniest band name (for my eventual middle-aged rock band). My longtime favorite fantasy band name is The Only. Always loved the soul I feel that name represents. Today, for whatever reason, I thought it would be great, edgy and funny to name a band The Glans. What do you think?

I've always liked the classic sound of band names that start with, "The." The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Clash, The Cure, The Smiths, The Sex Pistols, etc.

I have a terrible memory, so I had to look that up. I see it's true. Sorry about that.

I think a little less severely than that now, but I still do like to know a person's Sun sign for the things I can infer from it. Astrology really is about stereotyping, and categorizing, so it's hard for me not to feel that way.

Today I went on an interview for a job I already had pretty locked up through my connection with the owner. He just wanted me to meet with his General Manager as I'd be working closely with her, and wanted to see if our chemistry would be ok. Turns out she's a Taurus. That's a VERY good omen for me. Taurians and I are very often quick friends. I think tonight I'll ask the owner's birthday/sign as he mentioned her being a Taurus in our conversation after my interview with her. (Was a little concerned about broaching the topic with a guy I met at a Christian ministry, but he's a definite realist and seems open to everything.)

Anyway, I don't know what the point of saying all that was, but I'm sure you get me. It's very cool for me to see people like you here, because I feel like we haven't had much opportunity to connect so it means a bit more. That's not at all to diminish the presence of my known friends (Bluemoon).

As a Cappy with a Virgo Moon I don't know that I could ever feel comfortable with this thread, but it is a very nice thought. Oops, Tink just warned me about calling Scorps, 'nice.'
