One of my closests friends from 7th grade came to visit for a few days last week. We caught up on a lot of stuff and I got to ask all sorts of questions like what's it's like to be married, having a husband, being pregnant(!)?As a gift, prior to her arrival I cleaned up my entire apartment, did a cleansing with lit bundle of sage and wormwood, and lit incense to welcome the mother and baby. Then a thought occurred to me to give her some stones I had purchased several weeks ago. I meditated and asked the baby which ones it would like to have. I picked out a large pink opal and a rose quartz. When my friend arrived, I gave her the stones. She said she didn't know what sex the baby was, and did I think it would be a girl since I was giving stones with feminine energy? I said, perhaps? Boy or girl, the stones vibrate well to Motherhood too.  Today I got an e-mail announcement that she and her husband are expecting a baby girl!  Was so neat to hear, I just had to share. IP: Logged |
