HmmmmI shall be 48 in a couple of months..... And dont feel it at all....... My body has become fuller, but with that I feel more sensual and my hair is longer and redder than ever and my eyes shine more and I am far more confident than I was 10 years ago.... Its strange cos I used to think that the approach to the big 50 would be like a downward slope... Haha....little did I know..... I am in my prime !!! IP: Logged |

Pushing 52. I am the happiest I have ever been to date in my life! Old? Folks might think so but I do not! Of course I had century old friends at age 13 and elder lovers in their 90s in my late teens. Old? It is simply a body thing. The soul and heart could care less! If one is hung up on age one will become very disappointed in time. So why let it bother you?------------------ Age is a State of Mind. Being old? I practically pay no attention to chronological age, so it amuses me how society perceive age. It's just a number...Getting old? I'm not afraid of it. For all I know I will be taking the earliest exit point. OK I'm depressed, so it's a normal thought. But yeah, even if I eventually decided not to take it after all, I wouldn't be bothered with the process of aging. Yeah I just can't wait to go home. That's all. IP: Logged |

I enjoy being my age-38 on Sept. 7 (the eclipse thing's got me a little wary though) and would not go back in time for anything. I mean the best things happened to me when I was in my thirties. I met a soul mate (parted ways and it was an emotional experience but one I wouldn't trade for the world) met another soul mate-my son and it's amazing being a mom to such an amazing person. I work for the nicest people on earth and realize it. I wrote two of the best stories I've ever written (just have to get them sent out. Still working on the procrastination thing) I look forward to the future with great anticipation. I have a feeling the next soul mate is going to be my life partner-whoever and wherever he maybe. Yeah, it's all good-even when it doesn't seem to be. ------------------ Sun Virgo, moon Pisces, Libra rising, mercury venus 12th house all conjunct, Mars Leo. IP: Logged |

IQHunk, lets pay a visit to the astral spouse store, I'm so with you there on that one. Not to be cyincal, but dating is exhausting. Sexual passion I belive truly is the greatest of all desires, and as any novice buddhist knows, desire is the root of suffering, therefore it follows that sexual dealings are the the cause of the most suffering. How true this is, at least for me.SO in conclusion, sign me up for an astral husband. I woudln't mind a platonic marriage either. IP: Logged |

Leaving Immortality out of this; I can't wait to hit 40, 37 in 3 months, I feel that if you take care of your vessel to the best of your knowledge, meaning GREEN TEA, Veggies and water-minus flouride, well I think you will be in for a heck of an adventure. Running or walking long trails early in the morning is a must for long age+being older. This life is eligible for Immortality, if one wants a part of it, but for those that don't you must follow good health to really enjoy old age. I believe that ANY hereditary Ailment in one's family can be skipped IF ONE takes care of them selves. WE are Great Trees (right Emily...MUAH!), a tree goes through a period of change, four in our sight, your body is the same way. For example a man will accumulate a tummy from eating, drinking beer, depression or sympathy pregnancy, but a man can feel when his body just says "okay buddy, today-from this time forth its time to shed!!!" I mean our bodies will start to sweat elements out, sometimes we don't know why were sweating or feeling swampy (we usually go get a cold beer to take the feeling away), but the reason is our bodies are trying to get back to that youthful stance that we were given spritually/evolutionarily and sometimes we dont see that we are the tree with four seasons, spring, summer, fall and winter. I think if one follows those examples of the trees old age is so much better. Knowledge is the last key. It is said that things like LSD or Marijuana kill brain cells, let it be known right now that many pharmacuetical drugs kill brain cells too. They drown out the one most important machine your body has. Knowledge can reverse this. By reading books, the internet, having wonderful conversations with close friends (yes all of you!!!) and arguments, by thinking aloud, in silent while your doing garden work, washing dishes (dishwashers are evil!)cleaning home, dreaming and working a ghastly job you are actually stimulating your brain to grow more cells and function to maximum performance (premium oil) to help the rest of your body function properly. from brain to stem to sacral..all the portals of the body leave this area. take care of these wonderful components and you will LOVE GROWING OLD!!! you might think, "Well its too late for me young man of 36, I am old, achy and done!" I say to you my lovely friends, "It is never too late, if it was,you wouldn't be in such a wonderfu and "pinkish" place. were there is a will, there is always a way" So as you can see (from an immortal) I love counting down the years like Count Van Count I LOVE COUNTING THE YEARS AWAY...AAAAH AAAAH AAAH AAAH..LOL
GREEN TEA, THATS THE KEY!!! IP: Logged |

I TRULY do believe that we all have the chance to live forever and that forces hidden are trying to stop us from seeing this. Why you say? Because mystery is power and the Truth will set you free!IP: Logged | |
