Aw 26T you look gorgeous!!   I adore the first pic, I love the lighting and the colours, my first thought was Mystical Gypsy.
Btw, whats the stone on your right hand? Is it malachite?

Thank you, you beautiful people!!! SunScorpion, I was told the stone was turquoise when I bought it. It's a deep green color though...so I'm not so sure....maybe it is malachite! What were you all for Halloween? Do you have any pics? IP: Logged |

Love the new pics!!  Interesting about the turquoise! Ive got a pendant that is more light greeny-blue, with streaks running through it, and a plain sky blue ring, they almost look like completly different stones. Malachite is different to turquoise though, it is a beautiful deep emerald colour, with lighter & darker lines.

Yep! Definitely turquoise.  It looks just like the stone in that first pic. Earlier, I remembered someone once telling me they thought it was 'Chinese turquoise'.  I've never even heard of that. In any case, I'd say it's got to be some kind of turquoise. I get alot of compliments on that ring! Thanks for helping me narrow it down, bebe.  IP: Logged |

As for the rock, have a look at this page -- there are many colors of turquoise.....

The best sky blue turquoise comes from the Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona, I think. The nicest greens come from China. The Persian turquoise is also that beautiful deep sky blue color.....
I have some yellow turquoise.....
