Driver wants to deep-666 his license plates November 16, 2005
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- Ken Hasenmueller doesn't want anyone to get the wrong idea about him, so he plans to trade in the license plates assigned to his red Oldsmobile. The Wisconsin Division of Motor Vehicles randomly assigned ''666-KEN'' to the Altoona man's car. ''Initially I thought it was interesting,'' Hasenmueller said of the pairing of his first name with the number recognized as a symbol for the Antichrist. ''But then I thought that people might think I was Satanist.'' Hasenmueller also said he was worried others would assume he requested the plates. ''I wouldn't want people thinking I was interested in that sort of thing,'' Hasenmueller said. ''You don't want this sort of thing on your car.'' ''We are a very strong Christian family,'' added his wife, Jean. Paul Bernander, chief of Wisconsin's Department of Transportation title processing section, said from time to time motorists receive a plate they find offensive or upsetting. People can return plates at a DMV service center, Bernander said. A $5 counter fee and a $4 replacement fee may apply. AP

Some years back we had plates issued by the
OBOMV that read:
VD
and..
STD
This was when A.I.D.S. first became known.

Is "666" appilicable only for Christians? Infact, I don't even believe in satan/devil so I don't care a damn. I have always had an affinity for 666. How about 616? Scriptures are re-defined, right? ------------------
