castlegirl! quote: (can't help but think of all the shampoo and washing though lol..I have hard time dealing with my hair; can imagine how it is for you
Thank you! Actually it is not that hard. I usually wear it braided. And shampoo it in the shower. It only takes a quarter cup to wash. It does take forever to dry though. And I too wish to say what you said.....I never really looked at this entire thread before. On dial up it was way tooooo slooooow! quote: My compliments to everyone who posted their picture and I didn't mention them here.
Yes! !

castlegirl Thank you! Can you believe it...people sometimes come up to me very angry and tell me that no one my "age" should have hair like that and that I am a selfish b!tch because I do not donate it to sick children for wigs! Well..... I WAS one of those kids who lost my hair and I had no wig. I have paid my dues so to speak. People need to be educated and especially other children to not laugh at or stare at people who have gone bald due to illness/treatment. Also it is usually some short haired person who never had long hair who gets nasty about my hair, up to grabbing it and jerking hard! Perfect freaking strangers!!!!!!!!! And ALWAYS a woman! So as much as it is nice to get compliments.....I am rarely seen with it down. It is usually hidden under a hat or scarf and braided and pinned down tightly. Its not worth the hatred and nasty attention I get too. ------------------ ~Judgement Must Be Balanced With Compassion~ ~Do Not Seek Wealth From The Suffering, Or The Dire Needs Of Others~ ~Assumption Is The Bane Of Understanding~ }><}}}(*> <*){{{><{ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~ IP: Logged |

Thank You Castlegirl. I could tell you alot of ill treatment long haired folks are subjected to by folks who have long hair "issues". But I won't go into it more here, except to say, yes....there are people who really get upset at mine; but men with hair long like mine, often get alot of hassles. You would not believe the attitude of many folks! So we all hide it usually. A braid down inside the shirts hides alot. Thanks again!

Fayte Nice pictures. I love that last one. You look so pretty in that picture and kind of demure. Zala You are so cute and look just as sweet as you are. For some reason I pictured you with red hair because I didn't see your picture on page 5 on this thread. Actually that blond hair and blue eyes and your fairness makes you pretty much the norm for Minnesota. Doesn't it? Lots of Swedish immigrants settled in that area for some reason didn't they? Any way, I have been to Minnesota and while I was there I did see a lot of blue eyed, fair, blonds. And yes, you are very cuddly and huggable looking, Zala. Nice pictures everyone. You are very pretty, jupitergirl. IP: Logged |

fayte, castlegirl, Mirandee, naiad ~Thank you for your kind compliments, beautiful ladies all..... 'tis been a long time since fairies followed me around Ms Hedgewitch but I hope I can be blessed with their presences again in less-busy days to come..... castlegirl, my fellow Pisces Mooner ~ No, I have very little English blood - a quarter Irish, Italian and Swedish, and an eighth West Indian, another eighth German/other-European -- howzat for "MUTT"?? Mirandee, I've only been here in the home of Paul Bunyan for 10 years in May -- was born in the San Joaquin Valley and lived most of my life in Seattle..... and there's still red in my mane -- my daddy was a redhead And if you're ever in MN, come check out the Libran Huggability Quotient, and allow me to check out the Taurean Huggability Factor to all ~ Z Waterbaby ~ quote: Hey everyone looks lovely, what a wonderful thread. Fayte quote: Mirandee Thank you. Demure?
Hahahahahaha Okay, demure in a fiesty kind of way. You just have a very sweet expression in that picture and demure came to mind but yes, it would have to be demure in a fiesty way. I don't think anyone could ever accuse either you or me of being demure. hee hee Nice pictures, WaterBaby Do you work with people who suffer from Id or is it on a volunteer basis? Either way you are an A very cute angel too!! Bless you!!!! edited to add: You nailed capitalism as we see it today very accurately in that picture. I certainly have nothing against capitalism in it's true sense but what we are seeing in the world today is not true capitalism. It is more fascist in nature as true capitalism is meant to serve everyone. Today it only serves the aristocracy and exploits everyone else. So to your graphic and powerful picture. IP: Logged |

Mirandee I guess in person I am rather reserved and quite unless I know people well enough and even then I am prone to seriousness, preferring to observe people laughing and goofing off rather than participating. So maybe "demure" is fitting. Definition: Looking shyly modest: looking or behaving in a modest manner, with reserve or seriousness. ------------------ ~Judgement Must Be Balanced With Compassion~ ~Do Not Seek Wealth From The Suffering, Or The Dire Needs Of Others~ ~Assumption Is The Bane Of Understanding~ }><}}}(*> <*){{{><{ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~ ~~~ ~~ ~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~
