Dulce Luna, Thank-You so very much for your warm hearted compliments!!!!Solane Star, I LOVE your energy! Oh, the positivity. Have you ever thought of becoming a motivational speaker? What are your placements? Do you have a pic somewhere here? I seem to be getting that alot lately, about me maybe pursuing the possibilities of be coming a motivational speaker, thats funny how you bring that up!!! LOL!!! You can find pics of me on pg. 58!!!! Good to see you, ararax and you are looking good. LOL Fayte, Okay, but all the cancer folks that I know are very musical and there are so very many of them in the music industry. But DL is right and I do try not to identify people by their sun sign when it really is the whole chart. DL must be right about the water thing and music. I am a taurus but I have a pisces moon and cancer rising and music has always been a big part of my life and still is. Actually I don't really care for the noisy stuff either, Fayte and there is a guy who drives down my street blaring his bass. I keep hoping he will blow out his speakers. IP: Logged |

I don't seem to get it, I'm a person that really likes to feel her music and I guess also deafening myself, MY CHOICE!!! WHAT DID YOU SAY, I CAN'T HEAR YOU???????? I Also feel and have a really strong healing vibrational connection from my music, its very intense!!! Sometimes I just really need to connect!!!! I have always taken others into consideration along my musical journey's. I move into places that only provide me and my neighbours with the right amount of comfort and music levels, so I don't disturb or disrespect ANYONES space or place!!! I have lived in counrty because of this, I've also lived above many appliance type stores and businesses just for this fact!!!! I even lived with one of my girlfriends for ten months once, she don't like the levels sometimes either, so inside of taking that change that I may disturb her, I use to make a joke about it. I worked at the little town coffee shop nites shift 11-7am and when getting off in morning I would get in My Car and drive on the out-skirts of the small town, Country Side of course!!! JUST TO FEEL IT, calm down from work, on wind!!!Take off a load!!! Then drive back to the coffee shop after, because thats where everyone was getting ready for work and starting their day!!! I use to say " I DRIVE ALONE WITH NOBODY ONE ELSE, BUT MYSELF!!! A little Musical George humor in there!!! LOL!!! Yes I do also know that not all others are as " THOUGHTFUL " as me, but we're learning!!! Not everyone GETS IT YET!!!! I love all kinds of music, different mood & FEELING for every forum of music!!! I have a wide ARRAY of FAVORS to choose from that highten my SENSES of AWARENESS!!!! I totally enjoy and find the beauty, harmony & that " MARS BEAT " to be very s-elf Inspiring & also so motivating!!! It has helped me carry out a " MANY GREAT VENTURE'S " along this path of life!!! Harmony & Balance!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!

Yes and if we read the Sun Signs by Linda Goodman, about the Taurus Sun Sign, it goes kind of like this; Fine paintings and great symphonies stir him deeply, Every Taurus owns some evidence of the Venus Love for art & music!!!!Many Taurus men & woman have beautiful voices. Some of them sing professionally; others warble in the bath, soak in rich oils and dream of gilt-edged security. Yeah, I am not talking of the people who have respect for the quiet space of others, but like that ninny you spoke of....

"SOUNDS " Like you need to live in the Mountain Forest!!! Would'nt that be nice!!!! I live above a BAR NOW and only have one apartment beside me and if someone moved in and complained about my music, I would ask them way they choice to move above a BAR??? I would not turn it down!!! Thats for sure!!! Do you think that, just maybe you moved into the wrong neighbourHOOD, you can say that it wasn't always this way, but that's the up's and downs of living in the city!!!

Yeah, know what you mean, Fayte. I don't understand the need for those types of speakers in a small space like a car and all that bass, well, it vibrates my windows whenever this guy passes. Brody takes afternoon naps and I have to run the air on warm days I would like to have his window open while he naps so he inhales fresh air as he sleeps. This guy and his loud car wake him up if the window is open. I have never complained to him or the police about it though. I realize he probably likes his music that way. However, the township has considered passing a noise pollution law due to all the complaints they get about these boom boxes and loud cars. LOL Solane. My oldest son ( cancer ) always blared his music and still does. The only one that I complained to him about was Rush. I told him their music makes me hyper so please turn it down. He said, " Why do you think they're called Rush, mom?" lol I bet you are like me in that you have to sing along with the music too, Solane. And yes, this Taurus does sing in the shower and I also sing as I do my household chores. I cannot paint the walls without listening to music. It just seems to make the job easier by taking my mind off the job I am doing. The more upbeat the song playing on the radio the faster I paint too. IP: Logged |

We have a noise ordinance. It does no good. 
The cops are scared.Solane...
I would not choose to live in a noisy place.
But one has to live where they can afford to live.
When we moved here it was nice and quiet.
Until slum absentee landlords bought some houses cheaply from old folks. (Yeah, it was a QUIET neighborhood of old folks when we first moved here!)
We did our bit to check places out for the QUIET factor. Even checking police reports first! There is only so much anyone can do to scope a place out first. Things can change later.
So then what?...WE are supposed to just put up with it, or keep moving when folks are breaking the law?
It freaking costs $$$$$$ to move! And we are owners now, not renters! That should mean something!
That is why cities go down to Hell. People let the lawbreakers win. If your building allows loud music, at all hours,
it is Not the kind of place I would knowingly move into.
I would assume you are not into violating noise ordinances or breaking rules or laws concerning loud music.
Where it is allowed...go for it.
Where it is not allowed.....respect the space of other folks.
