I'm glad this string is back to normal poo and not the sanctimonious tone it had a few pages ago..... Simple answer for this simple question: Yes. Thank goodness we weren't all being yelled at again to wake up. Pix, future, AG 'Zala IP: Logged |

Well, I've flown in and out of LL over the last six months and obviously missed a whole lot more than you, dorkus.I wasn't even aware of those other threads in UC. peace, I apologise to you for using your thread as a place to draw attention to the fact that the forum rules do not match some of the posted threads. After reading some of the posts in UC, I could have easily have expressed my opinion there (or several other places, as I've now discovered). But, they don't match....so, if the Forum Rules aren't going to be enforced, then, perhaps it would be an appropriate time for them to be re-visited and re-shaped. I came across an interesting comment in one of the other threads - along the lines of the poster feeling an affinity and level of comfort with the other members here, to be able to discuss topics like the one in this thread. So, how do you meet that need, without potentially offending people? We all have choices. I chose to surf the net. I chose to register on LL. I chose to read this thread. And, I chose to post in it. I must say, that I found it amusing to see an "Oral Sex" thread in amongst the "Happy Birthday" threads. Wouldn't a happy medium then be, the creation of some more LL sub-forums? If we're all worried about creating a 20th(Judgement) sub-forum, then let's create two. One for topics like the one in this thread, and the other for general forum help/discussion (as there is currently no place for posts of that nature either. with love purple_scorp IP: Logged |

Purp,I think those are great ideas. I also like the idea of maybe LL creating a constitution of some sort that we could all adopt or something. Just an idea. IP: Logged |

I knew this was coming. Peace, one thing we should remember, always, is that we are a community, and not all our personal intrests maybe for the general functioning of the community as a whole. If you "love" talking about sex, there would be such places where you can do it without any hazzles. Now, imagine you are driving on a busy road, dnd you smash the oncoming traffic, saying you like to go your own way. Should I say more? ------------------ Welcome Home to GhostVillage IP: Logged |

aha well , personally i do feel a certain uneasiness with this thread . i feel its the vibe thing . may be its the in your face title .its not that i dont like talking about sex but yes , i must admit i would find it uneasy doing that with a teenage ever in real life and i consider LL more so a community ,so... i might be called prude (i was in love with some one , who was eight yrs. junior to me but i believe there is a differnce between two situations ) again , i very much agree with the concerns of lotus about the teenagers . someone did say , they talk more so in school , yes they do . but being adults , our concern should be more about what we can prevent and not about what we can not ! talking about sex to teenagers is very ok, infact necessary , i feel but it needs to be done in a clinical way which i dont think this thread would have been able to provide .
it would have been more into creating the mysticism for them , which i think , should be avoided. just my thoughts......... IP: Logged |

.......lotusheartone...... Ever heard of the word escalated? As in 'you've escalated this completely out of proportion'. At first, it was just a mistake and a misread of AG's comment... which could have been cleared up then and there. Everyone has said countless times he was merely replying to my post but now you go and post "grown men talking about teenage sex". That is a grossly exaggerated comment, disturbingly serious and IMO I think you owe AG an apology for insinuating that he is a pervert.AG, I will stand up for you because I like you, despite that thing you posted on the Flights Of Fancy topic which i haven't forgotten.. but still. Thanks for respecting my post. This topic is ridiculous. If it weren't for the fact that it is against the rules (and being a Virgo I'm a right stickler for the rules) then I would gladly post a highly repulsive, fully-descriptive explanation of the connotations of this thread. Unfortunately, because it seems to be offensive enough to make people leave this site, because it would be highly taboo from a 15 year old and because I have far more common sense than to deliberately make this whole site hate me I won't. But there are some people who really make me want to. Sorry if this post has offended anyone. IP: Logged |

fayte, I'm referring to MYSELF! not peace. and one more thing lotus... leave pixie the heck alone! She is the most sane person on this entire god damned site! And just cos you've read Linda's books, what makes you so bloody righteous and higher than the rest of us? We've all read them.. I think! It's not up to you guide people spiritually below yourself. You shouldn't waste your precious time when you could be off meditating somewhere.
Sorry, I just got a bit worked up here...

S'okay fayte.. I'm confused!! Ahh, pix you just speak a lot of sense and your humour is right on cue. Plus, I just can't abide self-righteous people. Especially when they try to take on others who clearly have more wit and sense than them. IP: Logged |

Wonders what thread the Flights of Fancy was about. Yikes!Looked it up. Terribly sorry. I don't even remember that, honestly, and if I'd seen the posts that followed it I certainly would have said something back then. That's really weird. IP: Logged |
