Dear AcousticGod,I think a constitution-like approach is an excellent idea. It needs to be a community project so that we all contribute to its creation and therefore, all feel ownership. If we all believe it, then, we will all follow it. Perhaps Randall should call for a panel to investigate this, and, people will need to apply to be on the panel - with reasons why they should be involved in its creation. And who told you I was talking to mutable?I didn't even mean ew to her. So don't come in here as if you even know who i am tlaking to. i notice you tend to do that alot. I just find it disgusting that you people are even posting this. If I can recall mutable is only about 15 or 16 and others here also.
These things shouldn't be posted here and if they are you should at least put an 18 and older warning.

Suprisingly,here in Hawaii you can get married at 16.I didn't know about that.I that found out a couple of years ago.Of course you have to have your parents blessing before you do.I thought that once Hawaii joined the union,that 18 was the legal age. IP: Logged |

Yes..the age of consent is 16 here. But I think it only pertains to 16 to 17 year olds having encounters of a sexual nature or in cases of old enough to get married without a parent's permission.
I think it is illegal for a person over 18 to be with anyone under 18 and a person 16 or 17 to be with a person under 16.
Really not sure.
Laws vary from state to state.

After reading lalalinda's post, I thought that my post to Mutable Night Force could easily be misinterpreted. So, I want to clarify what I meant:In previous posts, I drew attention to the undisputable fact that the rules and the content of this thread do not match and that one of them needs adjusting. Then later I described MNF as having a lot of passion. A better word would have been "spirit". I wasn't condoning MNF's views or intent to post on the subject matter being discussed, but rather making an observation on MNF's courage as a 15yo to have the conviction to express an opinion in a thread that potentially would draw ridicule and judgement. with love
