whether before or after, it's in the chopping and the carrying that you can learn the most.. and usuallly discover people beside you chopping and carrying as well. If their load is lighter, they can help. If their load is heavier, but they are strong, they can help. If their load is light buit they are weak, you can help them. Then build a fire and share some stew, and talk about your most fabulous and horrific dances.IP: Logged |

quote: talk about your most fabulous and horrific dances
Wow! I wrote a poem many many years ago that might fit in here. Mind if I share? Wild and sweet his rhythm seduced me eating me whole-- I hadn't a chance. He dug into his pocket, grabbed a handful of stars, and threw them to heaven. (They were his heart.) Through the windowpane I watch his dance in his glory, his glory-- his aura is bright. The glass shatters as I reach out to touch the fire that's burning whose flames hypnotize. With a jagged shard I slice through my flesh and bleed and watch the blood, the fire, the dance lost in a haze struck by his power as dawn devours the night the wild rhythm fades the sweet music follows the man dancing after the moon. Inspiring Madness, HSC There's dawn, morn, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, twilight, midnight... why no name for the deepest hours of the night? Isn't that the time where the threshold between madness and intense depth of Soul-Surging unite in force to Create True Genuis of Creations and ART? mmm...what kind of word could even begin to describe it? ******** I stumbled into the stinging Retina Dawn feverish and trembling madness still tingling the membranes of my mind Bursting out of that endless Dark Night, Rebirthed anew from some past mutant inhabitant who rode the days in slumber, never breaking on beyond the telling Dream In frenzy, the Sun In delirium The Sky Eyes and Chin raised Nobly Forever Changed for a Silent Scream.

Phantom highway Route sublime could anyone know the stillness of the darkness like this ole' heart of minewhere sweet wanderings tangle in lost memories where novice wonderings seek the sacred rite to know the knowings that give breath to the night Pillow, comfort this reeling mind If ever I truly felt divine it was inbetween midnight and 3 am Inbetween that moment of awakening and passion and that moment of Zen when the star-lit universe reeled in the mysteries that light couldn't comprehend. Lia, I just tried sending this, in response to your "enpassionata" email, but it says my address is blocked as spam. Is this a mistake, or....(?) Anyway, here's what i wrote: Wow!... Lia! This is incredible! You have such an eye and ear for the recurring mysteries... You must have been "plugged in" when you wrote this. Does that happen to you a lot, or, were you brought to these experiences mostly through the maddening vicissitudes of love? I know, the ability to create something which points with sturdy finger so unerringly toward the infinite profound.... it is a pale consolation beside the ravenous flames of unrequited love. But, it is awe-inspiring to see you transform, as the soul-fire burns away the fleshy dross of your human heart, and leaves, immaculate, a blinding crystal ember, more potent than that densest of points from which the whole of creation burst forth.
You have such a rich and beautiful soul, Lia.. Thank you for sharing with me. I loved what you wrote on the "to be edited" thread... I had forgotten about that thread. I was tripping on acid, when I wrote it. But sometimes the true dark of night is inspiration enough, if we only let it be, I know. "...that moment of Zen when the star-lit universe reeled in the mysteries that light couldn't comprehend." Beautiful. Love to You, Steve

(lovely!!!.. but perhaps you might want to edit personally identifying monikers....) ????You left one for me before too, over in Yellow wax. I don't mind people knowing my name, as long as it is edited for public consumption later... I hope you don't mind my mentioning. Thanks. IP: Logged |

Steve Thanks so much for your beautiful understanding words. "the maddening vicissitudes of love" Yes...very much so. Madness...one's Soul & the Universe; silent witnesses, yearning to describe some deep primal passion that words could never form. spam? hmm....will send a mail and see what's up with that. I'm with pix ...no big deal that other's know, but thanks for your edit, anyway. Pray, can one truly find someone in this world who so easily senses feelings yet unvoiced? You are an amazing and beautiful Soul yourself, Steve. IP: Logged |
